Why Israeli forum, was off line for almost a week?

Perhaps the moderators had a double holiday. Didn't Christmas and Hanukka begin on the same day?

So when they go on holyday they turn off the site? At least they could have leave some page that announce of break of service

We were down over the long Christmas/Chanukah weekend because our tech support folks were out of state on vacation.

We also delayed bringing back the Web server while we installed certain systems to help us solve server problems faster next time.

But unfortunately there will always be a next time. It's part of running a site like this.
