I posted the link to the site where that picture could be found. Actually someone had used the picture as an attention getter and had posted a link to a pro Palestinian site.

I quickly removed my post and I’m not falling for that trick again.

In part his mother had this to sat:

"I encourage him, and he should do this," said the woman, the mother of six. "God gave him to me to defend our land. Palestinian women must have more and more children till we liberate our land. This is a holy duty for all Palestinian people."

Since Barbie has been banned in Iran (see http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2002/05/22/1021882068091.html ), Iran has introduced a new line of properly covered dolls, Sara and Dara (instead of Barbie and Ken).

That`s not a real explosives belt, no one here said it is.
I have no idea if that particular picture is real, but there are enough other pictures that portray the same act. An arab was arrested in Germany, after he was shown carrying his little daughter on his shoulders, with fake explosives attached to her chest, at an anti-Israeli demonstration. Was that a good photoshop work too?

Yes, the bombs are toys, although meant to serve as educational toys, thus reflecting the values of Palestinian society.

The mother prepares her child to become a mass murderer, which is held in high regard in Palestinian and the rest of Islamic society for that matter.

'Baby bomber' sparks Mideast row

Jerusalem — The Israeli army has released a photograph of a toddler dressed as a suicide bomber that it says was discovered in a Palestinian militant's house in the West Bank city of Hebron.

The authenticity of the photograph could not be verified, but its publication in Israeli newspapers on Friday triggered a new war of words between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

The army said troops found the photograph in a family album while searching the house of a wanted Palestinian militant on Tuesday night. It shows a boy, who appears to be younger than 2, standing up in a baby suit and wearing a small explosives belt with red wires attached. He also wears a red headband similar to those worn by Palestinian militants.

The Palestinian Labor Minister makes his comparison of suicide bombers to soccer players, without blinking at the thought. It's interesting, though, that this picture is getting way more attention than many actual violent acts committed by Palestinians. (Another indication of the power of simple propaganda symbols.)

Although the youngest known suicide bomber has been 16, children as young as five or so have been employed for various other terrorist activites, such as throwing pipe bombs (sometimes causing loss of limbs), throwing rocks, acting as decoys, and who knows what else.
