Well, the biggest anti-semitism conference the world has ever known is now over. What now?

On the positive side, the virulently anti-Israel provisions were removed and as such the Arabs have failed in blackmailing the world into towing their line. The US voted with its feet and walked out. The EU and Canada threatened to walk out. The lesson to the Arabs is that their strangulation grip on the world by use of the implied threats of terrorism and oil embargo, is now loosening.

On the negative side, it is apparent that without US resistance, the world is more than willing to stand by as anti-semitic lies are put forth.

It is now, more than ever, obvious why a strong State of Israel is needed. It must defend itself not only against the Arab enemy, but against a corrupt third-world that is filled with Arab-inspired hatred against Jews. This, even when Israel is holding back from striking forcefully against Palestinian terrorism.

The lesson to be learned is that such restraint has not gained Israel anything at all, and that it would be much better off protecting the lives of its citizens by all means necessary, rather than worrying about regaining world sympathy.

Nice theory, but...

As long as Israel is seen as an occupier it will have its hands tied against fighting Arab terrorism because the image of the occupier is what the third-world countries and Europe too use to justify terrorism against Israel.

I hope that Third-world countries and U.S. Blacks start to realize that the Arabs deflected much of the world's focus from solving real racism problems, by bringing up the anti-Israel issue.

As usual, the world is all the worse for the actions of the Arabs.
