Arafat may be going senile and is a racist anti-semite, but he knows when the boat is sinking. Israel will reject this, and then he'll start "accepting" any peace plan thrown at him.

Arafat is no fool when it comes to his survival. He knows he's about to get wiped out.

Yes, they have no trouble apprehending and executing collaborators, yet they complain that Israel prevents them from apprehending terrorists. Of course, it is all for the consumption of those who are eager to be gullible, like much of the EU. Arafat is the terrorist, and to think that the Wizard of Oz transformed him from barbarian to statesman by giving him a Noble Peace Prize trinket is childish fantasy -- only someone like Kofi Annan would fall for this.
