Large uneasiness

:( I am really ashamed of the direction the world is going. Corporation and barons gain more and more power and influence almost to the point of being monopolies.

Civil liberties are decimated in the name of preventing terror.

Freedom and rights of the average citizen is disappearing to make room for a government and corporate police state.

I once fought against Globalization, Corporations, and all that stuff your are against when you live in the "college bubble", hence, "fantasy land". But then Sept 11 happened and I realized several things:

1. I live in the real world, and becaus I am a Russian-American Jew, pretty much every single Muslim (except my friends, 2 of which are Palestinians) in the workd hates my guts since they are old enough to hear and understand "you hate Jews kid" or "Allah will let you screw some virgins after you kill some Jews" (About the virgins - How would that be fun anyway, sounds like a bloody mess to me as well as about 2 mninutes a pop, you call that sex? At least I know that I have better sex with 1 non-virgin who knows what she is doing rather than a bunch of stale fich laying there, gross.)

2. The line has been drawn. The teams are: the Western, Corporate, Democratized, Consumerized, Imperialistic, Globalization forces versus All the Extremists who want to turn the clock back. Gee, I know where I beong all of the sudden, the lesser of two evils, but at least I will be able to live and practice what I want, unfortunately, the government will have to watch me, but as long as I don't break the rules, I should be fine.

and 3. 20 years ago, there were only 4 billion people on Earth, now there are over 6 Billion. This is called exponential growth. The world will not be able to handle this rapid growth in its global ecosystem without equalizing things with means such as: hunger, disease, floodings, global warming, storms, famine, drout, etc. - all steming from Overpopulation. Now unless the worlds peoples come together and learn how to control these things and/or learn to colonize other planets, all of our future children will be dead or have no hope for living. In order to do this, the World needs to move forward. These Extremists and Religious Zealots from all Religions need to be made to play the game, or need to be cleaned off the face of this earth (hopefully by peaceful means such as education and making sure their children play by the rules). Otherwise, its down the drain for all of us.

So now its easy, the lines are drawn, I don't like it, but I know where I stand. And I know who I'll help as WWIII gets under way.

This is the price we pay for allowing Islamic terrorism to flourish in places like Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Afghanistan, Arafatistan, etc.

I agree that Islamic extremists are very much against "Western, Corporate, Democratized, Consumerized, Imperialistic, Globalization" forces, as well as any other different force; however, without the help of the "Western, Corporate, Democratized, Consumerized, Imperialistic, Globalization" forces, the Islamic extremists would not be nearly so powerful. For example, the United States government offering any support to the leadership of Saudi Arabia, one of the most repressive reasonably affluent countries in the world, where Jews aren't even allowed in. Or, as another example, Canadian government officials meeting with Arafat.

Or even Oliver Stone going ahead with Glorifying Arafat in an up coming movie. Sorry no link. My question is "how is Oliver going to make this guy look like anything but an all our terrorist? and how's he going to get past the odor of that headwrap, whea, gross?"
