I was just wondering, Newsguy, about the possibility of creating a system that notifies the forum that it is a member's birthday. I don't know if what I'm asking is outstandingly difficult, but I (and I'm sure many others) would like this system. Thanks for your consideration,

Not everyone uses a real birthday. I know I don't.

15 bucks, your real name and birthdate and it's a hop skip and a jump to identity theft.

Precisely.

15 bucks, your real name and birthdate and it's a hop skip and a jump to identity theft. Are you saying that I behave like a cameleon or something? And is that good or bad?

ps: sometimes I have to use a dictionary to read your posts! (no offence, it's just that my English isn't good enough)

No I just wouldn't divulge much precise information, is all.

No, he says that he is the cameleon - to prevent his personal information could be misused. I don't know what the 15 $ are needed for. Maybe the plastic for a new set of credit cards or stamps for mailing cheques.
hop, skip and jump refers to a kid's game, idiomatic for zero difficulty.
I imagine Medio also has a weird bible-belt accent and you'd have similar difficulties if he'd actually talk to you instead of posting. Well, Medio?
So Achihud, if you could post your creditcard number and the pin ...

No, he says that he is the cameleon (...) Roland, I was kinda slow but hey, I used the right pun! So Medio, is that a 'paid' 15?
I hope I'm not slow this time...

You need about 15 dollars to a background search sufficient to gather enough personal information to steal someone's identity given a few choice pieces of information you already hold. It's really not that hard.

Sorry about my idiomatic English. Bible Belt? No. 'Bible Belt' southern English is like 17th-18th C. Scottish blended with black English and has a lot of the same cadences as Gospel. You can come here to Eastern North Carolina and hear people talk the way they did when James I ruled England.

What's this, then? http://www.israelforum.com/board/faq.php?faq=vb_board_usage#faq_vb_calendar_how
