FROM WHENCE ARAB CRUELTY?

I had planned to write about the string of dead American Jews under
the Bush regime, like Irv Rubin who opposed Oslo, Paul Wellstone who
opposed an attack on Iraq, a couple of journalists who disparaged the Bush
family integrity etc. However, an article in the Jerusalem Post, of all
conspiratorial places, detoured my plans.
The article was by Lawrence Keleman, author of a parental and
teaching guide called To Kindle A Soul: Ancient Wisdom For Modern Parents
And Teachers. He analyzed where the Arab sadism Israel must suffer comes
from and noted that, "Hormones released when children experience physical
and sexual abuse impede development of that part of the brain responsible
for empathy and conscience."
After verifying this conclusion from scientific studies, he lists the
abuses Muslim Arab children suffer, including "disciplinary approaches that
shock Western onlookers," in Arab schools and widespread forced clitoral
removal, all of which turn Arab youngsters into cruel adults.
Keleman's barely noticed piece was daring only because modern
political discourse forbids criticizing "minorities," as if 300 million
people are a minority. I've fallen into this trap and withheld some
bothersome personal experiences. But since Mr. Keleman has broken the ice,
I am an eye-witness to the cruelties he writes about and here is my
testimony. If anyone thinks it is "racist," I could care less already. My
people are being blown to pieces by young Arab men and it's time we
understood where their sadism comes from.
Somewhere a "Palestinian" watches the BBC and sees a kibbutz, called
Metzer, which is getting along with its nearby Arab villages. This cannot
be permitted to continue, so two attacks are planned against the place in
one day. The first is foiled but the second does the trick. The terrorist
bursts into the bedroom where a mother is putting her seven and nine year
old sons to sleep. First he shoots the boys in the head to make sure their
mother dies in agony, then he finishes her off.
But that's still not cruel enough, so the local Arabs come up with a
better plan. At 7:30 in the morning, school kids crowd the number 20 bus in
Jerusalem. Why stop at two children, when we have a chance to murder, maim,
cripple and blind fifty?
Now what forces create such monsters? In 1994, the former head of the
Romanian secret services published a book in which he claimed that his
branch of the intelligence services supplied Yasir Arafat with little boys,
then filmed him for blackmail purposes. They also filmed him at work on his
assigned chauffeur.
The "president" of the Palestinian Authority is a homosexual and a
pedophile. And that would not shock his constituency because such behavior
is commonplace in their society. Despite draconian laws against
homosexuality in the Arab world, homosexuality is the norm among unmarried
men and bi-sexuality amongst the betrothed.
So why the Draconian laws then? The answer can be found in a book
co-authored by my friend Kevin Abrams, called The Pink Swastika. While the
Nazis severely punished the fairies in their lands, macho homosexuality was
the order of the day for the upper leadership. The SS founded schools where
beatings for discipline and fun was a minute by minute reality and older
"mentors" guided the youths to greatness through deep personal
relationships which sane people call child molestation. It was the perfect
formula for creating heartless Gestapo officers.
When I was a student at Hebrew University, the Arab dorm mates were
famous for pushing their beds together. After my army service, I worked as
a security guard in a factory employing only Arab laborers. I was not told
beforehand that constant homosexual advances were one of the perks of the job.
I should have been prepared for that side of the laborers, since I
had seen enough sickening sadism
during my army days. Two events stand out in my memory. I was a guard at
Ansar Prison, where security threats are incarcerated. Every few days a
prisoner would be found brutally tortured. There were so many of these
pathetic victims, that an entire bloc was created to separate them from the
rest of the prison population.
The most common torture worked like this. The victim would be gagged
in his bed to prevent screaming and his pants pulled down. Plastic straws
and spoons would then be melted drop by drop onto his genitals.
While serving in Gaza, my patrol platoon spotted unusual activity in
an orange grove. We surrounded the grove and slowly moved in. We found one
man tied to an orange tree, while two men had built a small fire and placed
their torture tools within. This man's crime was keeping pornographic video
tapes in his home. A few tapes were burnt in the fire but one was melted in
a pot. Also, in the fire was an iron. The iron was going to be the final
coup de grace. The man was burnt all over his body, but especially in the
pubic region, by the drippings of his melted plastic video cassette.
And if someone chooses not to believe me, take me to court. I'll
track down the whole platoon as corroborating witnesses.
What drives men to seek satisfaction and revenge from such hideous
pain? Why do Arabs dance in the streets of Gaza and Ramallah when Jewish
children are ripped to shreds by their bombs? I think it begins with
circumcision. Jewish babies are circumsized when they are eight days old
and nonsensical psychological theories aside, no one remembers the pain.
Arab boys are almost adolescents when they are circumsized and it is a
moment none can forget. By inflicting such pain, children turn cruel.
I lived in the Old City of Jerusalem once and saw hundreds of Arab
children at play. What bothered me most was their treatment of animals,
primarly donkeys. These poor beasts were whipped and their genitals flayed.
Another memory: I went fishing in the Jordan River and caught a large
catfish. I won't eat these piscine monstrosities, so I gave it to an Arab
family fishing nearby. I watched their four year old son kick, stomp and
pound this poor animal, until I went over, picked it up and threw it back
in the river.
And if childhood is a time of life best forgotten, it is adolescence
which ensures a lifetime of cruelty. The separation of the sexes is so
complete and abnormal that it leads, and has to lead, to abnormal behavior.
If a girl is accused of illicit activities with a boy, not even G-d can
save her. She can be murdered for the sake of her family's honor and
because of the shame she caused, and the murderer will be found innocent or
sentenced to a perfunctorially light sentence.
We are not talking about or advocating wild promiscuity now. Religious
Jews and Christians are also obliged to choose chastity, but in all but the
rarest of cases, are permitted to choose a mate they love.
The courtship rituals of Orthodox Jews would certainly be considered
constricted by secular standards, but they are dating in their way. Whether
through friends or matchmakers, almost always chaperoned, they come to know
their partners before commiting themselves to marriage. And needless to
say, most Israelis have a far less restricted dating life before settling
down.
The Arabs surrounding Israel dare not mix genders, no matter how much
they may love someone. The Jerusalem neighborhood of Talpiot has three Arab
villages on its border. You can see the daring young people of these
villages meeting on isolated park or street benches. This Jewish suburb
provides a brief sanctuary for them. And it will be brief because both have
been promised by their parents to someone else. They will eventually be
consigned to a loveless arranged marriage and only the brave will fight
back. But these brave do exist, in large numbers I'm told, but they are
fighting a losing battle to tradition and Islamic fundamentalism.
I spent a weekend at a conference in a pretty humble Netanya hotel. I
noticed that among the guests, were numerous young Arab couples. It seemed
out of place with what I knew, so I asked the desk clerk what was going on.
Here's what he told me, as best as I can recall:
"A lot of these couples are sowing sad oats. They are in love and know
they won't be allowed to marry. So they arrange very complicated alibis and
come here for their trysts. They are always looking to see if someone they
know spotted them and they know their feelings for each other have to end
but they don't know how to stop their feelings. Israel's freedom is
something they want but they'll go back to their villages anyway and join
in the Jew hatred." (continued)

The marriages will often be to someone in the same tribe or clan.
Whose clan you belong to is the key to power and influence in Arab society.
But marrying into the clan means having children with your cousin. The
spokeswoman for Shaarey Zedek Hospital explained, "Among our Arab patients,
we deal with a lot of degenerative diseases caused by too many recessive
genes meeting in the same egg. I don't know why the medical field can't be
honest about this, but there is a price for tribal marriages. We often
treat grotesque sexual conditions unseen in the Jewish patients but the
doctors are too frightened of professional punishment if they report this
phenomenon."
All this would explain why young Arab men are angry, frustrated and
furious enough to murder. But what would drive them to kill themselves in
the process? Books by Avi Lipkin and Ramon Bennet provide the answer. In a
highly underplayed passage of the Koran, "jihad martyrs" are promised the
services of young men once they arrive in Paradise.
And in their depraved world, that is one heck of a reason to die.

The death of innocent civilians during combat – an all-too frequent occurrence -- is a true tragedy. The death of innocent children, however, transcends the realm of normal tragedies. And when children are deliberately exploited during an armed conflict, when a political or terrorist group seeks to turn them into high-profile casualties with the goal of gaining public relations points--the tragic becomes criminal. The Palestinian Authority views dead children as the quickest way to gain public relations points in the international arena--particularly in the media-rich regions of Europe and North America, where each casualty receives extensive coverage.

Unfortunately, what's often unseen on television is the reason why children have been placed on the front-lines of combat. Nearly always, it's because Yasser Arafat and his officers have chosen to put them there.
Incitement by the Islamic Religious Establishment
The Palestinian Authority's Muslim religious establishment – the Waqf – plays a central role in the incitement of the Palestinian public in general, and Palestinian children in particular. The Islamic preachers – the Imams – present a religious and ideological legitimacy for attacks. The imams, led by the Arafat-appointed Mufti of Jerusalem, also glorify the martyrdom of children, promising a glorious paradise to children who are brave enough to die while attacking.

Arafat's History of Abusing Children in Battle
Yasser Arafat's decision to use children for combat in the year 2000 was not a new one. On the contrary, it was a continuation of a long-term PLO strategy of child exploitation. Hoping to gain both military and political advantages, children have long played a central role in the PLO's terrorist and military campaigns -- It is a strategy, and a story, that began nearly 30 years ago...

The "Cubs" Who Became Killers
In the 1970s Arafat established military training camps for Arab "cubs": Young children who had been conscripted into PLO military units. The PLO proudly hosted exhibits for the press, showcasing children firing assault rifles and rolling through burning obstacle courses.

In the 1982 war in Lebanon, Israeli soldiers were confronted on numerous occasions by "RPG kids" – teenage Palestinian Arab "cubs" equipped with anti-tank rocket propelled grenade launchers. Not expecting to be confronted by child assailants these soldiers would hesitate, resulting in fatalities.

In the spring of 1982, Arafat issued a mandatory mobilization order for all Palestinian Arab males between the ages of 16 and 39. In June 1982, the PLO issued a new call-up order; this time for all boys aged 12 and older whose fathers served in FATAH ("Conquest!") units. The children were promised $80 a month and were attached to regular PLO battalions, each serving in his father's company.

(Though the PLO was a terrorist group and not a legitimate government, it had established de facto control over large portions of Lebanese territory, thereby giving it the power to make any mobilization order mandatory.)

During the Intifada over ten years ago, rock-throwing youth were a major component of the campaign. The use of firearms in the Intifada was relatively limited. Today, Palestinian children are an integral part of Arafat's strategy of armed confrontation. Unlike the Intifada ten years ago, however, the children have been integrated into the battle plans, and battle units, of armed Palestinian forces.

25,000 children were trained this past summer in Palestinian Authority summer camps in the use of firearms, the making of Molotov cocktails, methods and operational rehearsals for kidnapping targeted leaders, and conducting ambushes. Tragically they were indoctrinated for a new generation of war--not for peace.

Palestinian Arab Suicide Bombing Children Trainees



Three Palestinian children attempted to infiltrate the Israeli community Eli Sinai in the northern Gaza Strip, 1 Jan. 2003, in order to carry out a terrorist attack with knifes they had in their possession.



The three children, 14-year old Muhammad Dawas, 15-year old Tarek Dawas and 13-year old Jihad Abed, were identified by an IDF force which fired towards them and killed the three while preventing an additional terrorist attack against Israeli civilians.

This is not the first case in which terrorist organizations have dispatched Palestinian children to carry out terrorist attacks.

24 April 2002 - Three Palestinian children (Issmayeil Abu Nadi, Anwar Hamdona and Yusuf Zakut) were armed with knives and pipe bombs, when they attempted to infiltrate the Israeli community of Netzarim, located in the central Gaza Strip. An IDF force positioned in the community identified the attempted attack, and shot and killed the perpetrators.

30 December 2001 - Three children (Ahmed Banat, Muhammad Madhun, and Muhammad Labad) attempted to infiltrate the Israeli community of Dugit, in the northern Gaza Strip, in order to kill Israelis by stabbing them with their knives. An IDF force prevented the terrorist attack when they shot and killed them.

The phenomenon of Palestinian children being sent to carry out terrorist attacks has stirred a debate amongst Palestinians.

"The Fatah movement officially released an announcement on 2 Jan. 2003, against Palestinian terrorist organizations sending children to carry out terrorist attacks. In the announcement, the Fatah movement accuses, "the disrespect and the game with the fate [of the children], and the ease in which their blood [of the children] is used for the narrow party interests."

"Dr. Suna Abu Daka, head of the Psychology Department of the Islamic University in Gaza, stated in an interview with a journalist on 3 Jan. 2003, that, 'The [Palestinian] family must educate its children about the significance of suicide attacks, its importance, its significance and to explain to them when they are ready to be capable to carry out terrorist attacks. Moreover, it's the responsibility [of the Palestinian families] to protect their children until strong and they can have the capability to make decisions on their own [regarding perpetrating terrorist attacks].' She stressed that terrorist organizations play an important role in the subject."

It is important to note, that the deputy of Yassir Arafat in the PLO, Muhmud Abbas (Abu Mazen), claimed in an interview with the Jordanian newspaper A-Rai on 20 June 2002, that Palestinian terrorist organizations give children five Israeli Shekels (NIS) in order to hurl explosive devices towards IDF soldiers. As a result, 40 Palestinian children have become amputees.

The boy was watching the soldiers eating snacks that were given to them by passing (grateful) cars, and Yitzchak handed the boy some potato chips. The boy smiled and accepted the chips. Then, Yitzchak shared some cookies. The boy was happy. Suddenly, sitting across from the child, Yitzchak noticed that the boy began to tremble, cry, and then become hysterical. He was obviously fixated on something behind Yitzchak, coming towards the booth. When Yitzchak turned around, he saw a Palestinian woman approaching. It was the boy’s mother. She was obviously very angry at the boy. She grabbed him by the ear to take him home, and screamed at him in Arabic.

For a variety of reasons, it’s doubtful that this particular boy will be
throwing stones at Israeli checkpoints in the near future.

Incidents of a similar nature are far to common in Muslim countries. I came across a study on courtv.com done in Pakistan in the late 1990’s and it’s a perverse sick society. When you walk away after having looked at all the data regarding child abuse in Islamic countries it’s no wonder they behave the way they do.

I found the article by Nonie Darwish, Impossible Family Dynamics of Islam ,very disturbing and yet informative. I also wonder about the claim on the web site that some Muslims keeps pointing to which has some of the Islamic principles, including this one on marriage. It seems to idealize a marriage which is far from ideal in the Moslem community.

Impossible Family Dynamics of Islam

Marriage and divorce laws in Islam have a profound effect on the family unit and consequently on Moslem society as a whole. I personally lived in and witnessed many Moslem families and saw the impossible family dynamics resulting from these laws. I realized that a woman finding herself happy and secure in a Moslem marriage happens rarely and only through extraordinary good luck. I will explain why this is so.

The family unit is comprised of a father, mother and children. This is the nucleus that societies are made up of. The source of all loyalty in the family is the loyalty between the husband and wife. The healthy relationships extending out beyond the marriage depend to a large extent on what kind of bond the couple has. The way religion regulates the holy relationship between a man and the woman in matrimony is crucial in forming the secondary relationships in the family unit and what kind of extended family dynamics are built on it. The husband and wife relationship will ultimately shape the kind of society that is the end result. Religions bring rules and codes of behavior that stabilize this unit for the benefit of society.

The Judeo-Christian religion stresses one man / one woman in marriage where the nucleus of loyalty is clear between a husband and wife. Genesis 2:24 says "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." Note the singular form of the word ‘wife.’


Islam on the other hand allows women only one husband but men up to four wives, and that changes the dynamics of everything. That right of the man, even though many Moslem men choose not to exercise it for many reasons, has a devastating impact on the healthy function and the structure of loyalties of the Moslem family. There are chronic social ills and tragedies stemming from this single right, accorded to men by Allah, and demonstrated in practice by the prophet Mohamed.

The husband according to Islamic law has the right to divide his loyalty between four women and his children from all of them. Islam asks men to be fair and just among the wives and to treat them all equally. In practice, when the inevitable conflicts of marriage occur, many Moslem men resort to a second wife (or threat thereof) as their ‘solution’ instead of working out the problem with the first.

Men do not even have to use their rights for the damage to happen. By allowing Men to be ‘loyal’ to up to four wives, the stage is set for women always to distrust their husbands in the Moslem world. That distrust extends also to other women since any of them could shamelessly become an eligible ‘bachelorette’ for the husband. If the husband stays married only to his first wife, then it is a sign of his generosity and good graces. She should thank her lucky stars and be eternally grateful to him and his whole family, as she becomes the envy of other women. However, in the back of her mind she is always in fear. A Moslem wife cannot demand her husband’s loyalty to herself alone, and she is threatened by single women in a way that no Christian wife is threatened by her husband’s mistress.

Under Islamic law, a second wife (and third and fourth) is legally equal to the first in every way, including inheritance. This is very different from an affair in the Christian West where the mistress has no rights and is discouraged by religion and society from any advances to or from a married man.

A single Moslem woman with an eye on a married man often can say: "He is a man and can use his rights and our marriage will still be blessed by God, just as that of the first wife. It is his right as a man to have both of us!"

Thus relationships among women in Moslem countries also become strained and hostile. There are little relationships between women outside the family or clan. There is constant fear of envy and the evil eye as well. As a child I often heard women begging their husbands after a fight not to marry another woman. "Go ahead and have affairs" they say, "but please never marry another." They are afraid of another wife and children who will be regarded as equal by law and society.

Moslem women, when their husbands earn more money, have to worry about him being able to afford a second wife. I remember hearing a Moslem woman advising her friend: "spend your husband’s money as fast as you can before there is extra for another wife!" Moslem men very often keep the first wife in the dark about the second wife and often his own family and some of his close friends know about it and cover up for him. Women in the Islamic world frequently discover, after the husband’s death, another wife and children they never knew existed, with whom they now have to share the inheritance as equals!

Divorce in Islam is accomplished by the husband repeating the phrase "I divorce you!" three times. That’s it! It almost harkens back to a pre-literate, tribal era.

When I was a child, we had neighbors who were very distinguished physicians, both husband and wife, with two teenage sons. One day the wife came to my mother crying because she had discovered that her husband had been married for years to one of his young attractive patients and already had a child with her. When she confronted him with her discovery, his response was "What do you want? I am within my rights." She begged him to divorce the other woman. He refused. She told him "then you have to divorce me", thinking he would back down. He called her bluff; the next day he divorced his wife of 20 years!

Women, on the other hand, have no equivalent right to divorce their husbands. I remember being 21 and having a new woman friend aged 23. She was like me, living with her parents and she confided in me that she had been married to a man 5 years earlier and when she asked him for divorce because she was unhappy he refused. He then retaliated by sending her back to her family and married another woman with whom he had a couple of children. He could divorce her in a minute if he wanted, but she had to go through years of court procedures with no success and finally her family had to bribe him with a hefty amount of money to divorce her.

In addition, Moslem men have the right to marry non-Moslem women; Moslem women have no right but to marry Moslem men. That causes a gap of availability of men to Moslem women. The result is a larger number of unmarried Moslem women who have fewer and fewer population of Moslem men to choose from. On the other hand, Moslem men often find it easier to marry a non-Moslem foreigner, with whom he does not have to give a dowry, follow strict family courtship rules and no wife family to bother him and look after her interests.

Moslem Women have to juggle this impossible web of harm and deceit as a result of men’s religious right to have more than one wife and easy divorce. All these laws skewed towards Moslem men leave women in a very weak position, but that injustice does not come free of cost to men, and has a devastating impact on every aspect of Moslem society. The issue is not just that it is unfair to women; it is much worse than that and has many unintended, damaging consequences to the healthy upbringing of children. Women’s loyalty to their husbands is completely undermined, and many Moslem women shift their loyalty to their first born son and their own family. The son becomes her man and her defender, very often against his own father. Frequently a wife’s father or brother will settle disputes with her husband. The unit of loyalty in the Moslem world is then transferred from Husband and Wife to Mother and son, mother and her family, husband and other wives, and husband and his own family who cover up for his second, third or fourth marriage.

Thus the whole social structure is disrupted. Women in the Middle East often go by their son’s name such as Om Mohamed, meaning "Mother of Mohamed" or Om Ali, "Mother of Ali". That becomes their identity. It is not ‘Mrs. Husband’ but ‘Mother of Son’. In the Moslem world the relationships between Mother and daughter-in-law are especially very strained and bizarre. Very often a Moslem mother-in-law, who herself transferred her loyalty to her son, suddenly becomes very powerful and very threatened by the marriage of her sons. Mothers often choose the son’s wife. Wife has to please mother-in-law and often serve her more than mother-in-law’s own daughters. This is one way to guarantee husband’s blessings and influence him not to marry another woman. Very often Mother-in-law might encourage the son to marry another woman if the daughter in law is not obedient enough. If this all seems confusing, that’s the whole point! It’s a disaster!

Moslem weddings are not a very holy event. There is the traditional virginity check of the bride among the less educated classes, the exchange of the dowry between the groom and father of the bride and the belly dancers that lead the bride and groom to the bedroom. As a teenager I saw in an old Hollywood movie a church wedding ceremony. I was very touched by the marriage vows, especially when the Husband promises to love, honor and cherish his one wife only, "till death do us part". I thought, "That must be very civilizing to men". That scene struck me deeply and I wept over the beauty of the words that are the basis of the Judeo-Christian family. It was very comforting and calming and formed a great foundation to society. Even though I was a very young teenager, I asked my mother after the movie "How come we don’t have weddings like that?" Her answer missed the point: "We do have very glamorous weddings too", as if the issue was glamour or romance. I nagged her, without even comprehending why: "No we don’t have weddings like that!" I now look back at my innocent mind that was seeking comfort from the impossible family dynamics created by Islam.

In my opinion one of the greatest contributions of Judaism and Christianity to humanity and the order of things in Western civilization is the idea of one man, one woman joined in holy matrimony, which resulted in a far superior society and stable social order. Even though Islam is supposedly rooted in the Judeo-Christian tradition, the commandments and exhortations for monogamy seem to have been completely lost in the desert culture of Mecca.

I remember as a child secretly telling myself "I want a Christian wedding" and when I grew up, I did; I married a Christian. Mind you, the ceremony was simple and modest, and my husband and I had to flee to the USA. We were fortunate not to be denounced to the authorities by the ordinary visa office clerk, who, like everyone else in the society, considered it her business to enforce the religious virtue of every other citizen.

There is a large number of Moslem women married to Christians in the West. Many of them live in fear of being exposed in the old country. According to Islam these women are no longer Moslems. Without the USA many Moslem women would have been killed in their own countries for marrying a non-Moslem.

In Islam a man’s honor resides in the virginity of the women in his family. Arabic movies always show unmarried women being killed because they are no longer virgins, even if they were raped. That is the singular lesson of life that every Moslem girl grows up with. I do very much value a conservative attitude in the bringing up of both girls and boys to wait until marriage, and I did apply that to myself and the upbringing of my children. Traditional Christianity and Judaism value the same thing. However, Islam took this to the extreme level of killing girls that loose their virginity, like getting rid of a used tissue! It does not matter how or why it happened. That could be looked into later.

I personally knew of a couple of instances of such ‘honor killing’. To cite one example, my family once had a new maid who was about 17 or 18 years old. My mother noticed the unthinkable, that the girl came to us pregnant. She did not have it in her heart to send the girl back to her family since she was certain to be fatally harmed. When my mother asked the girl who the man was, she told my mother it was her previous boss whose wife threw her out when she discovered her husband’s obvious rape! When the girl was getting close to delivery my mother sent her to some government facility for her delivery. A few months later my mother learned from the agent that brought her to us that the girl’s family took care of the family disgrace and said something to the effect that the girl had been killed! I will never forget this girl’s face and I still weep over her. That story is still imprinted in my memory, thanks to the "Religion of Peace".

While Islam murders girls who have premarital sex, regardless of circumstances, it glorifies sex in the bringing up of boys. The Islamic culture gives freedom to boys to have sex prior to marriage and to indulge in many sins not allowed to girls. I often wondered who the girls are that Moslem boys go with? These must be the ones that Islam will take to Hell. The Moslem culture is full of contradictions that my young mind could not comprehend growing up. Everything seemed to revolve around sex. The sexual aspect of anything is number one; Clothes, a look by a woman, a laugh, a smile, etc. I felt that I am always looked upon as a sexual object, a piece of meat that has to always be on guard not to tempt men.

Western women who marry Moslem men, discover after the marriage ends and after it’s too late, the sad situation they are left with. In Islam, the father has the right to the children after a certain age. Very often these men take their children and go back to their home country to be wed to the new wife without even thinking twice. We all heard of the horror stories and they are all true.

Even after death, in the Paradise of Islam women are given the short end of the stick. The idea of Heaven is a carnal man’s dream and a woman’s nightmare. A woman in Islam’s Heaven is supposed to be servicing men’s sensual desires together with about 70 other virgins! The maximum on earth is four at a time but heaven becomes extra generous to Moslem men. Heaven is a giant brothel! Is that what Moslem women are looking forward to after death? Thanks, but no thanks!

I believe that the Arab/Moslem world has lost its moral equilibrium and has a long road for reformation. Arabs/Moslems have to truly re-examine their divorce and family laws to create a better context for married couples to have a happier and healthier life.

A slightly older Arab boy, 16, was caught two days ago on his way to try to murder the security officer in a South Hevron Hills community. He was caught while trying to cut his way through the fence of the town Shani, and later admitted that his intention was to kill the officer, steal his car and burn it.

Arabs in Gaza fired and threw grenades at IDF outposts last night; no one was hurt, and IDF soldiers returned fire... A curfew was imposed on much of Kalkilye, where four terror suspects were arrested early this morning.

Palestinian children are an integral part of PA Chairman Yasser Arafat's strategy of armed confrontation. Unlike the Intifada ten years ago, however, the children are integrated into the battle plans of armed Palestinian forces. This past summer, 25,000 children were trained in Palestinian Authority summer camps in the use of firearms, the making of Molotov cocktails, the methods of kidnapping, and conducting ambushes.

The death of innocent civilians during combat – an all-too frequent occurrence – is a true tragedy. The death of innocent children, however, transcends the realm of normal tragedies. And when children are deliberately exploited during an armed conflict, when a political or terrorist group seeks to turn them into high-profile casualties with the goal of gaining public relations points – the tragic becomes criminal. The Palestinian Authority views dead children as the quickest way to gain public relations points in the international arena – particularly in the media-rich regions of Europe and North America, where each casualty receives extensive coverage.

Unfortunately, what's often unseen on television is the reason why children have been placed on the front-lines of combat. Nearly always, it's because Yasser Arafat and his officers have chosen to put them there.
Incitement by the Islamic Religious Establishment
The Palestinian Authority's Muslim religious establishment – the Waqf – plays a central role in the incitement of the Palestinian public in general, and Palestinian children in particular. The Islamic preachers – the Imams – present a religious and ideological legitimacy for attacks. The imams, led by the Arafat-appointed Mufti of Jerusalem, also glorify the martyrdom of children, promising a glorious paradise to children who are brave enough to die while attacking.

Arafat's History of Abusing Children in Battle
Yasser Arafat's decision to use children for combat in the year 2000 was not a new one. On the contrary, it was a continuation of a long-term PLO strategy of child exploitation. Hoping to gain both military and political advantages, children have long played a central role in the PLO's terrorist and military campaigns – It is a strategy, and a story, that began nearly 30 years ago...

The "Cubs" Who Became Killers
In the 1970s Arafat established military training camps for Arab "cubs": Young children who had been conscripted into PLO military units. The PLO proudly hosted exhibits for the press, showcasing children firing assault rifles and rolling through burning obstacle courses.

In the 1982 war in Lebanon, Israeli soldiers were confronted on numerous occasions by "RPG kids" – teenage Palestinian Arab "cubs" equipped with anti-tank rocket propelled grenade launchers. Not expecting to be confronted by child assailants these soldiers would hesitate, resulting in fatalities.

In the spring of 1982, Arafat issued a mandatory mobilization order for all Palestinian Arab males between the ages of 16 and 39. In June 1982, the PLO issued a new call-up order; this time for all boys aged 12 and older whose fathers served in FATAH ("Conquest!") units. The children were promised $80 a month and were attached to regular PLO battalions, each serving in his father's company.

(Though the PLO was a terrorist group and not a legitimate government, it had established de facto control over large portions of Lebanese territory, thereby giving it the power to make any mobilization order mandatory.)

During the Intifada over ten years ago, rock-throwing youth were a major component of the campaign. The use of firearms in the Intifada was relatively limited. Today, Palestinian children are an integral part of Arafat's strategy of armed confrontation. Unlike the Intifada ten years ago, however, the children have been integrated into the battle plans, and battle units, of armed Palestinian forces.

25,000 children were trained this past summer in Palestinian Authority summer camps in the use of firearms, the making of Molotov cocktails, methods and operational rehearsals for kidnapping targeted leaders, and conducting ambushes. Tragically they were indoctrinated for a new generation of war – not for peace.

Now she has decided to tell the world about the death threat that hangs over her, not from an abusive spouse or a local thug, but from her family and much of the Muslim community of Linz in Austria. She has published a book entitled, Sabatina: From Islam To Christianity - A Death Sentence, in which she describes her father’s death threats, which he made under the Muslim laws of Sharia. James comes from a Muslim family but attempted to convert to Christianity, a decision which met with extreme hostility from her parents - the kind of hostility that made the headlines in the UK last week when Muslim father Abdalla Yones was jailed for life for the murder of his daughter Heshu. He stabbed her 11 times after she struck up a relationship with a Christian. The book has made James a figurehead for persecuted women in Austria and Germany, but has also forced her to live under constant police protection at her home in the Austrian capital Vienna. She said: "The fear is still there. The fear that my parents could murder me under the laws of Sharia." She also told how she learned of her father’s plan to get her grandfather from Pakistan to carry out her death sentence. He told her: "Your grandfather is already an old man and will die soon. It wouldn’t bother him to spend time in an Austrian jail." James moved to Austria aged 10 with her mother Fatima, her brothers Hassan and Adnan and her younger sister Aisha, after her father got a job on a construction site in a small rural village. The family seemed to settle into their new life, except for her mother, who flatly rejected the "immoral Austrian culture". However, their new lives changed dramatically four years later when they moved to the cosmopolitan city of Linz. There James began to develop an independent streak and wished to look and behave more like her western classmates. "For this she was beaten up at home to such an extent that social services had to intervene," said James’ publisher Josef Kleindienst. At 16, James took part in a family holiday back to Pakistan where she was told she was to marry her cousin, Salman. When she refused, her family sent her to a Koran school to learn how to become a "decent Muslim". Only when she agreed to marry once her education was complete was she allowed back to Austria. But after her return her previous feelings returned and after conversing with a classmate about God she began to read the Bible for the first time. James said: "I was amazed at the differences between the Bible and the Koran. The Bible spoke of love and forgiveness, but only Mohammed’s severity was conveyed in the Koran. "The turning point for me was the Bible’s attitude towards women. There were no commandments that said women were put on this earth to serve men." Of her future she said: "I don’t know what will happen to me. All I can do is wait and hope that one day Christians and Muslims will understand each other better." Austrian author, Guenther Ahmed Rusznak who converted from Islam to Catholicism and tried to arbitrate between Sabatina and her father, said what made the threat worse was that a large part of Austria’s Muslim community agreed. He said: "Ninety-nine per cent of the Islamic Community here in Linz condemn this girl, calling her a whore. This is ghastly."

ALL SERIAL KILLERS, almost without exception, are severely sexually abused as children. The kind of people who hijack a plane with innocent people and drive it into a building with thousands of other innocent people are related to this phenomenon.
When sociopaths rape and kill, they do not see their victims as human beings, but only as objects. This is because the sociopaths were themselves, at one time, used as objects - as their bodily integrity was repeatedly violated. The rage that results from sexual abuse is one thing, but when combined with living in a dysfunctional culture of sexual repression and misogyny, where love is reduced to violent domination, it is quite another.

Throughout the Islamic Middle East, men and women are taught to be vehemently opposed to pleasure, especially of the sexual variety. Men are raised not only forbidden to touch women, but to even look at them. Sex before marriage is not just a sin -- but a criminal offence. It is punishable by a severe beating at best, and an execution at worst.

The sexual privileges that are allowed in Islamic cultures are permitted to men. Women's sexuality and social independence represent major threats to male supremacy and are tightly controlled. Thus, as the Moroccan feminist Fitna Sabbah reveals in her book Woman in the Muslim Unconscious, there is a disturbing conflict in the Middle East between sexual libido and repression. A deep-seated fear of, and hostility to, individuality prevails, and its main expression exists in misogyny.

Socially segregated from women, Arab men succumb to homosexual behavior. But, interestingly enough, there is no word for "homosexual" in their culture in the modern Western sense. That is because having sex with boys, or with effeminate men, is seen as a social norm. Males serve as available substitutes for unavailable women. The male who does the penetrating, meanwhile, is not emasculated any more than if he had sex with a wife. The male who is penetrated is emasculated. The boy, however, is not, since it is rationalized that he is not yet a man.

In this culture, males sexually penetrating males becomes a manifestation of male power, conferring a status of hyper-masculinity. It is considered to have nothing to do with homosexuality. An unmarried man who has sex with boys is simply doing what men do. As the scholar Bruce Dunne has demonstrated, sex in Islamic societies is not about mutuality between partners, but about the adult male's achievement of pleasure through violent domination.

There is silence around this issue. It is the silence that legitimizes sexual violence against women, such as honor crimes and female circumcision. It is also the silence that forces victimized Arab boys into invisibility. Even though the society does not see their sexual exploitation as being humiliating, the psychological and emotional scars that result from their subordination, powerlessness and humiliation is a given. Traumatized by the violation of their dignity and manliness, they spend the rest of their lives trying to get it back.

The problem is that trying to recover from sexual abuse, and to recapture one's own shattered masculinity, is quite an ordeal in a culture where women are hated and love is interpreted as hegemonic control.

With women out of touch - and out of sight -- until marriage, males experience pre-marital sex only in the confines of being with other males. Their sexual outlet mostly includes victimizing younger males - just the way they were victimized.

In all of these circumstances, the idea of love is removed from men's understanding of sexuality. Like the essence of Arab masculinity, it is reduced to hurting others by violence. A gigantic rupture develops between men and women, where no harmony, affection or equality is allowed to exist. In relationships between men, meanwhile, affection, solidarity and empathy are left out of the picture. They threaten the hyper-masculine order.

It is excruciating to imagine the sexual confusion, humiliation, and repression that evolve in the mindsets of males in this culture. But it is no surprise that many of these males find their only avenue for gratification in the act of humiliating the foreign "enemy," whose masculinity must be violated at all costs - as theirs once was.

Violating the masculinity of the enemy necessitates the dishing out of severe violence against him. In the recent terrorist strikes, therefore, violence against Americans served as a much-needed release of the terrorists' bottled-up sexual rage. Moreover, it served as a desperate and pathological testament of the re-masculinization of their emasculated selves

Amid the news of the latest murders in Negohot, in which 27-year-old Eyal Yerberbaum and seven-month-old Shaked Avraham lost their lives, another atrocity should not be simply glossed over: the use of children to assist in terrorist attacks against Israel.

On Friday night, two Palestinian teenagers, aged 15 and 16, were caught by the IDF at the fence around the Gaza Strip. The two, it turns out, were paid NIS 100 each to risk their lives retrieving bags of weapons that were left at the fence by terrorists the previous night in a botched infiltration attempt.

These reports received scant attention here, where it is well known that no age is too tender to begin indoctrination toward hatred of Israel. We have seen babies in strollers with slogans of hatred wrapped around their foreheads, summer camps named after suicide bombers, and music videos that proclaim the wonders of "martyrdom" and murder. How many times have we heard the parents of suicide bombers declaring their pride that their child had committed mass murder in an Israeli bus or a crowded cafe?

Such behavior may no longer warrant mention on the Israeli news. But the question remains, where is the world when it comes to the wholesale enlistment of Palestinian children in the cause of terrorism?

The Web site of UNICEF, the UN agency devoted to the rights and lives of children, decries the fact that "millions of children are exploited, millions are abused, millions are victims of violence.
Every day, they are bought and sold, imported and exported like consumable things. Children are forced to be soldiers, prostitutes, sweatshop workers, servants."

UNICEF is right, of course. The exploitation of children is an issue of epidemic proportions, and one that, elsewhere in the world, the agency does good work in combating. Yet in its description of the plight of Palestinian children, not a single word is devoted by UNICEF to their systematic exploitation by both the Palestinian Authority and Hamas. UNICEF has 7,000 employees all over the world and is backed by over 100 member nations. Do they all believe that it is acceptable to prepare children to blow themselves up, pay them to run guns, or to throw stones at soldiers at the risk of their lives? Or, to put it more charitably, do they really believe this is an issue they can reasonably ignore?

Perhaps UNICEF can be dismissed as a politicized organization, though one would like to believe that at least the defense of children would remain above international politics. But what about such organizations as Defense for Children International, which is not directly affiliated with any government?

A search on DCI's Web site will produce plenty on the effects of occupation on Palestinian children, and some information of the problems of Israeli children. But it will yield nothing that we could find on what Palestinians are doing to their own children.

There is a reason why there are international organizations, both governmental and non-governmental, devoted to the protection of children. Such organizations should be shouting from the rooftops about such blatant exploitation of children regardless of the cause. At least as puzzling is the lack of interest in the effect such indoctrination and exploitation inevitably has on the cause of peace. If children's groups do not care about the children themselves, why can they not see that another generation is being instilled with hatred and trained for war?

None of this even touches on the rights of Israeli children to go to schools that do not have to be protected by armed guards; to travel on buses without taking their lives into their hands; to go to discos or theaters or restaurants without fear. In today's world, it would perhaps be too much to ask that the effects of the Palestinian onslaught on Israeli children be studied, noted, or commented upon. Yet by ignoring the plight of Palestinian children, such groups in effect become parties to their exploitation and partners in a conspiracy of silence. Palestinian children and our own deserve better.

What is the value of a human life? In some societies life is cheap, almost worthless. This paper reported just last week on a Palestinian father who told a reporter: "Sometimes it is even harder to lose a tree you saw your grandfather plant when you were a child than it is to lose three or four children." And we have heard from numerous Palestinian mothers who, with nary a worry, cavalierly send their young sons off to riot in the territories. "If they are killed, I can always produce more," they say with a shrug.

How diametrically different from the Jewish attitude toward life.

My comment is: the main thing to distinguish is the fact that the Arabs look back instead of forward. They are so stuck in their morose that they cannot make the future brighter and see that if they will rebuild their lives it is better than to destroy themselves while killing Jews to get their hatered out and for world sympathy. They could have started over millions of times, but no, they'd rather stay depressed......it's those damn humourless leaders of all walks of life and the suppression of females (even and certainly by other enslaved females!!! despite the education, btw, so don't think that being educated means a woman or man are not enslaved!) that is at the core of their paralysis.

the one that spooked me the most was of the little boy, about 4 or so, holding up his hands covered in red paint like those in the mob who tore apart those prisoners a few years back.

It is indicative of the lionization of the "heroes" of the "intifadeh" and beyond disgusting. As long as stuff like that continues there can be no peace. And it is not just the acts which must cease - they are just manifestations of the problems, not the problems themselves - but the culture which leads to such lionization which leads to such actions.

Only problem is I see no way to effectively DO anything about it, other than keep the guns directed outward.

In the ongoing battle for Fallujah, terrorists are using women and children as human shields against American soldiers. On April 27, 2004, in Jerusalem, Hamas used a Palestinian human bomb to kill two Palestinian alleged "collaborators." On April 28, 2004, even as UN envoy, Lakhdar Brahimi, was busy characterizing Israeli policy as the "great poison in the region," Jordanian police arrested al-Qaida operatives who were quite literally trying to launch a chemical poison attack that might have killed 80,000 Jordanians and Americans. And, on May 1, 2004, in Gaza, Palestinian gunmen shot and killed a Jewish woman who was eight-months pregnant together with her four young daughters.

Despite enormous and continuing denial on the part of left and liberal ideologues and the media, we are facing an exceedingly pathological strain of Islamofascist terrorism. So a crucial question must be asked: from a psychological and anthropological point of view, what kind of culture produces human bombs, glorifies mass murderers, and supports humiliation-based revenge?

According to Minnesota based psychoanalyst and Arabist, Dr. Nancy Kobrin, it is a culture in which shame and honor play decisive roles and in which the debasement of women is paramount. In an utterly fascinating and as-yet unpublished book, which I will be introducing, the Sheik's New Clothes: the Psychoanalytic Roots of Islamic Suicide Terrorism, Kobrin, and her Israeli co-author, counter-terrorism expert Yoram Schweitzer, describe barbarous family and clan dynamics in which children, both boys and girls, are routinely orally and anally raped by male relatives; infant males are sometimes sadistically over-stimulated by being masturbated; boys between the ages of 7-12 are publicly and traumatically circumcised; many girls are clitoridectomized; and women are seen as the source of all shame and dishonor and treated accordingly: very, very badly.

According to Dr. Kobrin, "The little girl lives her life under a communal death threat--the honor killing." Both male and female infants and children are brought up by mothers (who are debased and traumatized women). As such, all children are forever psychologically "contaminated" by the humiliated yet all-powerful mother. Arab and Muslim boys must disassociate themselves from her in spectacularly savage ways. But, on a deep unconscious level, they may also wish to remain merged with the source of contamination--a conflict that suicide bombers both act out and resolve when they manfully kill but also merge their blood eternally with that of their presumably most hated enemies, the Israeli Jews. In Kobrin's view, the Israeli Jews may actually function as substitutes or scapegoats for an even more primal, hated/loved enemy: Woman.

Widespread child sexual abuse leads to paranoid, highly traumatized, and revenge-seeking adults. Based on my own experience in Afghanistan (a non-Arab, Muslim culture), a polygamous, patriarchal culture also leads to an infernal, fraternal competition for paternal favor and inheritance. It is brother against brother, full brothers against half-brothers, full and half brothers against first cousins--and thus, can entire families and clans remain locked in revenge-fueled mortal combat for generations.

Clearly, only evolution of democracy and the elevation of women can begin to change such dynamics. Western feminists, American leaders: Please note. Alas, historically and theologically, Arab and Muslim culture strongly opposes both democracy and equality for women. This is why the battles to liberate Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Middle East are so important and so very difficult. The American and Israeli war against terrorism is like World War Two, not like Vietnam.

Yesterday, further confirmation of Dr. Kobrin's thesis arrived at my door. The remarkable and charming Walid Shoebat, an ex-PLO terrorist, came to visit. He has been speaking about his renunciation of terrorism and conversion to evangelical Christianity. Shoebat has been touring the country speaking out for Israel and against the "occupation of Palestinian minds with Jew-hatred." Unlike the human bombs, Shoebat "merged" with his American-born mother by finally rescuing her from years of captivity and domestic abuse in Bethlehem/Beit Sahur. He also rescued his father, the man who imprisoned and abused her.

Shoebat confirmed the widespread sexual abuse of both boys and girls in Palestinian society. "It is a strange society. Homosexuality is forbidden but if you're the penetrator, not the penetrated, it's okay." He is describing prison sexuality. "If you're a teenage boy with no hair on your legs other boys your age will pinch your butt and tease you. Once, I saw a class of teenage boys turn gymnastics into a sexual orgy. And once, on a hiking trip, I saw a line of shepherd boys waiting for their turn to sodomize a five year old boy. It was unbelievable."

Shoebat's father also told him stories about starving Arab men who would barter sex for meat from Iraqi soldiers. His father, Achmed, was also traumatized in childhood when he witnessed his aunt being raped by a male relative. According to Shoebat, teenage boys prey upon younger children; older male relatives prey upon pre-adolescent and adolescent boys and girls. They do not have intercourse with the girls since this would render them un-marriageable and bring shame upon their families. I heard many stories in both Afghanistan and Iran about the male preference for anal sex, even within marriage, either as a form of birth control or as a preferred homosexual practice.

Most Arabs and Muslims will deny that this is so. They will attack westerners who say so as "orientalists, colonialists, racists." Western intellectuals will agree with them. They have been well indoctrinated by--no, western academics were the ones who first glorified the work of the late Edward W. Said who, in my opinion, published his master work, Orientalism, in 1978 as a way of denying feminist ideas and refocusing academic attention away from women and onto brown, Muslim, Arab men as the truest victims of oppression. Neat trick.

Shoebat's grandfather was the Muktar of his village. Nevertheless, eleven-fifteen people lived cramped into two rooms with a huge balcony, a courtyard, and an outhouse. Once, when Shoebat's American-born Christian mother, (she was forced to convert to Islam), upended a backgammon board in front of his father Achmed's friends, Achmed took a hammer and cracked her skull. Shoebat, her youngest child, took her hand and walked with her to the nearest church where the nuns sewed up her head. There were no hospitals. Whenever his mother tried to escape, (always together with her three children) the Shoebat men would find her, re-kidnap her, subject her to further punishment.

The male sexual abuse of female children exists everywhere; it is one of the main means of traumatizing and shaming women into obedience and rendering them incapable of resistance or rebellion. However, the male sexual abuse of male children--denied, never admitted--may work differently and may turn boys into predatory, pedophilic men. Also, among Arabs and Muslims, revenge killings are uniquely prevalent.

Shoebat told me several extraordinary stories which illustrate Palestinian and Arab Middle Eastern mentality. One of his paternal uncles was supposedly having an affair with the mother of Yusuf Al-Atrash who belongs to the family of Sami Al-Altrash, the Montreal-based student who stopped Bibi Netanyahu from speaking at Concordia University. The woman's husband was the chief of police whose revenge consisted of throwing live grenades at Shoebat's family home. The home bore the unrepaired damage for years. The outraged husband wanted to not only kill his wife's lover but his entire family. "My father and his immediate family all had to die because of what his brother did."

Shoebat asked me how I would resolve this feud-unto-death with a male relative who was also the chief of police. I foundered. Bride-exchange sacrifice? Blood money? I could not come up with the ingenious plan that Achmed, Shoebat's father, crafted--a plan which may also shed light, in part, upon the nature of the Arab war against the Jews. Achmed persuaded the village that they had to attack, pogrom-style, a nearby Jewish community. (Ramat Rachel). Once the Israelis opened fire in self-defense, most of the Arabs fled. However, the Arab attack upon the Jews provided cover for what Achmed had to do: He himself snipered Yusuf in the back. When the Israelis, as they always did, allowed the Arabs to safely retrieve their dead, Achmed proclaimed Yusuf al-Atrash a "shahid" and buried him in his bloody clothing. This is a mark of honor. A "shahid" enters heaven more quickly, clothed in his own blood.

This characterizes an Arab way of thinking. From here, it is easy to create the kinds of doctored footage and photo-opportunity journalism that has dominated this latest Intifada against the Jews. It is also a way of thinking that the liberal western media does not comprehend.

Yusuf's martyrdom was not enough, the "honor" of the al-Atrash family had not yet been redeemed. Another man from the al-Atrash family attacked Shoebat's father Achmed, who, in self-defense, stabbed his attacker to death, "ripped his stomach open like a sheep." Shoebat's father immediately went into hiding. By this time, Shoebat was living in America. His paternal uncles called him and asked that he pay the blood money. Shoebat did so but not until each of his uncles ("nice uncles") publicly "abandoned" Achmed. "He is not my brother, I denounce and abandon him."

And only in this way was Shoebat finally able to rescue his mother. He paid the blood money and brought both his long-suffering mother and her abuser, his father, to America. Since Shoebat's mother holds an American passport she was able to bring her husband into the country with her.
