Although Latvian SS forces never officially participated in mass executions, the country had the largest per capita recruitment rates in the Waffen SS ranks in Europe.


Latvian's were the MOST complicent in the extermination of the Latvian Jews - to larger extent then the Germans!!!!! The Rajas unit even surprised the Germans by their brutality. Salaspils was one of the largest extermination camps, if not the only one of its kind, in Europe at the time of its creation, late 1941. Tens of thousands of Latvian and German Jews were exterminated in Salaspils!!!!!

Latvians are a bunch of Naz-balls who get constantly ignored by the rest of the world especially on the issue of minority treatment. It's a shame that our State Department does not hold Latvians to higher standards. Probably because Miss Freiberga is a Canadian sweet-girl.
