The British transformation from pro-Israel to anti-Israel
Does anyone know where I can find some good articles on why the British found it favourable to sign the Balfour agreement in the first place, and then later became violently anti-semitic by renegging on their promise and in a way being complicit of helping the Nazis kill Jews?
Oh, and I would also like to read some articles about the plight of Jews in the former Soviet Union and under Stalin.

Read the diaries of Richard Meinertzhagen (the Information officer of Alenby)

That's right - Britain is "violently anti-semitic" and "complicit" in the Holocaust...
Why are you trying to make an enemy out of a state who is not one?

This should help:
A BRIEF HISTORY OF PALESTINE
http://user.dtcc.edu/~berlin/palestin/history.htm
Alot stems from the Arab help the British got in defeating the Ottomans.
Also very briefly summarized in The 'Lawrence Of Arabia' legacy by Hal Lindsey
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/ar...TICLE_ID=29648
Those were the two that came to mind most quickly, but I may add to this thread.

According to Tom Segev, Meinertzhagen is a dubious source. Four days before the pogrom of 1920, he had written to the Foreign Office: "I do not anticipate any immediate trouble in Palestine". Later he blamed the behavior of the Brits on a plot. Allenby threatened to resign and Meinertzhagen was ordered out.

Britain isn't our enemy. But it ain't our friend either.
Britian committed horrible dispeakable crimes against us for years. Forbiding Jewish refugee immigration to the land of Israel during and following the Hollocaust. Collaborating with Arabs against us, turning a blind eye towrd repeated massacres and progrom mades agains us, during British occupation. Arming Arabs. Selling Arabs advanced weapons. For lesser crimes, any normal country would challange Britain for its crimes in the battlafield. So we don't like the brits very much, even if we hate others much more.

Take a good long look at my signature pal.
Also read the full text of the Balfour declaration, not just the first bit.

We already discussed your 'so what' signature.
British policy toward 'Palestine' AND Jews had changed well before 1945.
(and in fact swung back slightly towards Israel in the 1950's)
Take a good long look at MY articles. Including a Balfour quote within the first.

Spout as much of your one-sided propaganda as you want but if it wasnt for us Brits, you wouldnt even be here.
Our soldiers fought the Nazis and ended up dying at Jewish hands, thats a FACT.
So forgive us if we're not too sympathetic when you whine about terrorism.
What goes around comes around eh?

It sure will. Probably before your next elections.
