you have forgotten Russians, Serdar. Russians are the number one killers in the world when it comes to the innocent people. in the entire history they killed around 200 million people. and this didn't happen during the wars. those people were just innocent civilians. where are the hundred of thousands of Crimerian Turks now who used to live in present Ukraine? how did they vanish? this is just one simple example. many other examples like this can be given.
and what about Japan? they are not that innocent either. they also genocided millions of Chinese people.

Every nation committed warcrimes during its history, the difference is that Turkey is still covering up what it did while many other nations recognised injustice has been done(in the US few people will defend the genocide against the natives today, in France few people will defend the atrocities against the Algerians, in Belgium few people will defend king Leopold II, etc.).

Russians too committed crimes, but Turks too. Anyway in Russia today Tatars and other Turkish people have full civilian rights, have exactly the same rights as the Russians, their own autonomous republics, and Russia even accepted the independance of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, etc. Today in Turkey minorities have no rights at all, no autonomy, can't speak their language. You see the difference?
Uygur have autonomy in China and can speak their own language, the Kurds would dream to have those rights in Turkey as well...And now Chinese people are genociding the Uighur Turks in southern Turkistan.

Turkish minorities have many rights in Turkey. for example Armenians have their own schools, their own churches, their own newspapers, they can speak their own languages freely. Kurdish people can also speak their own language. nobody prevents them. who told you that they can't? I think you watch too much TV. don't believe everything what they say there
I don't need to mention Turkish Jews here because they don't even want to be accepted as a minority in Turkey. they always say "we are not minority because we are Turks!".
and as I said before mind your own bussiness. we all saw how your minorities reacted to the government last year. because they are fed up being discriminated. thousands of cars were not burned in Istanbul but they were burned in Paris. try to solve your own problems first instead of interfering the other countries' issues.

in Russia most minorities not only can be educated in their mother tongue, but most have autonomy within the Russian federation. Kurds, Armenians nor any other minority in turkey has these rights. But it used to be much worse, untill a few years ago even just speaking Kurdish in public could get you in trouble.
first of all, please don't give me any source from wikipedia. that web site is written by everybody. this can never be taken as a serious information. even I can go there now and edit what was written.
secondly, yes unity of language in education is our principle. but again we still have the Armenian and Greek schools for ages. Armenians and Greeks have been always speaking their own languages, again for ages. and so the other ethnic minorities.
however Kurdish situation is different. Kurdish terrorists have been killing and fighting with Turks for the last 20 years. not because of getting their rights or something. it is because they want to separate one part of our country. that's why we didn't want them to speak their own languages for a while. for our country's sake. otherwise why shouldn't we allow them to speak? or why didn't we prevent Armenians or Greeks to have their own schools? because we trust them. because we know that they will be always loyal to our (and their) country.
btw, keep in mind that we don't have a Kurdish ethnic group located in only one region. Kurdish and Turkish people are very well mixed in the whole country. even in Istanbul millions of Kurdish originated people are living.
