I am sorry - but Arab world SUCKS!!!! Nothing good out there!!!! Anything you can be proud of as an modern Egyptian or may be as a modern Arab? May be some scientific descovery? A medical break-through? May be a growing high-tech economy? Seriously for 300,000 + people Arab world is one big mass which you somehow try to compare to the United States. Oh yeah, I forgot long-long time ago Arab world was "ahead of it's time."

It does not work that way and all this talk about presumed hypocracies leave it to your own personal if publically accepted Arab opinion. I'm not American neither Israeli. And I didn't say I supported the Iraqi invasion, I do not! I'm saying that Saddam was worse (which is true) but Muslims don't care about that.

They are taught that "Jews are behind all evil in the world". Or that "Jews want to conquer the world" (LOL) and so on.. They also distort versions of the Quran and demonize Jews. True, Iraq invaded Iran because like Kuwait, Hussein wanted Iranian oil fields. He could have had them too because Iran was militarily weak at the time, but Hussein was a very poor military leader. The Iranians pushed back and did so well that it emboldened them. That is when they declared their desire to spread their influence in the region, to get rid of not just Israel but the other Arab regimes. That is when the United States started supplying Hussein with its weapons.
