Israeli police and train workers inspect damage to a train hit by an explosion Sunday in Yavneh, south of Tel Aviv.

JERUSALEM (CNN) -- Israel said an attack Sunday on a train south of Tel Aviv shows the Palestinian Authority has taken no steps to stop terrorism.

The explosion went off Sunday morning on the tracks in the town of Yavneh, about 12 miles (20 kilometers) south of Tel Aviv. The train's conductor was injured, Israeli police said.

Ra'anan Gissin, a spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, blamed the attack on the Palestinians. Gissin said Palestinians were also responsible for a similar attack on June 30 when a bomb ripped through a train near Lod, southeast of Tel Aviv, injuring three passengers.

It should be obvious to most people that there are elements in the world that don?t want peace. Peace may very well be desirable but in reality it?s a goal that in my opinion will NEVER be reachable. I admit that it goes beyond human comprehension (at least mine) if one attempts to understand why anyone would kill Jews indiscriminately.

This time there have been no deaths reported of course there?s the injured and the will bear the physical scars for their eternity even the uninjured will undoubtedly suffer psychologically forever.
