Why and how are jews different from others?

I would like to start a thread which studies the phenomenon of jews being unique.

Before we can draw any conclusions please list items which exemplify this phenomenon.

For example, as far as I know the Jews are responsible for current Windows, Pentium, and Cellular technologies...

Any details would be appreciated...

Ok, knowledge and success? I guess everyone wants success and there have been and are now other nations who place knowledge high on the priorety list. Greeks for example were all for knowledge and success once... There has to be more to this...

And like the black people have developed their abilities through natural selection in relation to the environment and culture, so the Jews...

Jews are different from others in the same ways as other peoples are different from others: culture, language, customs, common origin.

As for saying that Jews are somehow prone to be smater, well, that's hardly true. Just as it isn't true that blacks are naturally better basketball players. There is insurmountable number of Jewish morons and outright stupid Jews.

I didn't mean to talk about who is smarter, just trying to define how Jews are different.

The link I posted above talks about an article that shows that Jews draw an unusual amount of attention...

Being known for intelligence I simply stated that it is also a uniqueness since it is unproportional among Jews and in relation to other nations...

To say that everyone is unique is true, but it would seem that something within the jewish uniqueness is attracting more attention then all else...

jews are not unique in that area. for the Japanese people too are known for their intelligence. personally I think they are a smarter nation.

I'm not Jewish. And one of the many ways that Jews are different is that they've achieved much more intellectually than most of us Aryans.

1. You gave them a place to live.
2. You persecuted and killed them from time to time, therefore ensuring that the weaker jews are cut off and the smart ones who survive would breed and create better jews.
3. You created a community that is open enough to encourage new ideas.

It was a symbiotic relationship between aryans and jews.
