I found a Valmet variant with a similar stock. (Butts look different, Valmet has bracing, BBC News pic is from an angle with bracing not visible.)

Since both the Valmet and Galil are descended from the AK it can be hard to tell, but I don't see (from a short search) any Galil with a single-tube stock.
