Dozens of reporters had waited for Kifah and Intisar Ajouri on both sides of the Erez crossing, but the IDF used diversionary tactics, declaring the crossing a closed military zone and surrounding the area with canvas covers before sneaking the two into Gaza through a different crossing near Netzarim Junction.

The Palestinian Authority announced Wednesday morning that it was refusing to accept the two. The PA leadership instructed forces posted at the Erez crossing not to let the two enter the Gaza Strip, Army Radio reported. "

1. Nice tactic by the IDF to fool the press and PA with the route they chose. Hopefully America will use this tactic in its attack on Iraq.

2. What? Why no love for these terror supporters from the PA? Everyone knows that this is for show, and that they will treat them like heros just like they did the terrorists from the Bethlehem Church Ordeal.

But I agree that it is good news that Israelis are apparently beginning to learn how to deal/play with the media

. Athough they have a long way to beat the Palestinians at it in front of them. Such tricks speak of a still rather primitive phase. The advanced version would have been, for example, to present a magnificient "show" somewhere else, which would interest the media much more than this affair.

Wait a minute? If you are right with your comparison, then that means that:

Jews used to actually sneak into Germany (for sheer lunacy?), strap bombs on themselves (not part of the religion), and blow up innocent German bystanders(hmmm).

Then, the Nazis would go to their family's home (already confiscated, looted, and reinhabited by Gestapo officers) in let's say Poland, arrest their brothers or sisters (already gassed, tortured, or killed), and transfer them to let's say, Czechoslovakia.

Really? How quickly I forgot! (Never happened, but you could only wish, as I could only wish that Jews back then had it as good as Palestinian terrorists)
