This is the cheapest gas I remember since probably the early 90s! My sister lives in Cinccinatti and the gas is $1.35!

Mil - stands for the countless MILlions of reasons not to work.
An interesting comparison. Ours is currently USD 1,50 per litre. And one litre is equal to...
1 litre = 0.264172052 US gallons
Its more expensive in NY, the cheapest I've seen is $2.13/g. Thats pretty good!
What we are witnessing folks is a huge battle in the cold war between the Saudis and the Iranians. It takes $90 a barrel to maintain the Iranian economy, half that for the Sauds. LOL.
$1.69 but here in this red state we pay disproportionate state taxes. Until very recently gas was over $3/gal. And we were the longest over $4/gal in the country.
This is not entirely bad for Iran as they import more than 4/5ths of their own refined product. Cheaper for us is cheaper for them as well. The deeper problem is that in an era of very high prices they wasted it on atomic reactors and Russian weapons. They have 25-30% unemployment. High inflation - in the 20-25% range. And very uneven wealth distribution. You would NOT want to a be a rural Iranian who live in desperate 3rd world poverty circumstances. The urbanites do much better.
How much can you rely on Canadian oil sands?
