I have exposed child recruitment, in Congo, in Uganda, in Guatamala, in Columbia. The fact that scores more child soldiers actually come from those places than from Palestine or that the problem is common to people other than Muslims gets me shouts of disapproval from the single-minded posters here. Facts and statistics, studies, books and speeches are really nothing more than an inconvenience to the lopsided view of world events the propagandists here wish to portray.

We are talking about a systematic indoctrination of hatred for decades and decades of children in Islamic countries (see the Saudi textbook thread as an example of many). Teach them that Jews are their dogs and Jews are apes and swines. In Iraq and Iran Islamists have no problem putting bomb belts around children and remotely blow them up. Hamas and Hezbollah have no problem with children recruitement. Ahmadinidjad personally send tens of thousands of children to war on suicide missions in order to clear the mine fields. He personally gave them keys for paradise. This is systematic and widespread across the Muslims ME. And you call those who want to expose this propagandists...really!

What gets you shouts is your constant refraing that 'muslims are no different than other people'. That isn't the point. All you have been able to do is show that Islamic societies are as sick and depraved as people in the Congo, Uganda, Guatamala, and Columbia. Congrats. Those other societies aren't hailed as beacon's of light, but they aren't the focus here because the Guatamalan's don't have indocrination centers for their kids that make them spew out slogans like 'Death to Israel' or put on TV shows that encourage suicide bombing in Tel Aviv.

The argument against me was and is that Muslims are some kind of unique virus in the world and that getting rid of us by hook or by crook is somehow going to do away with child soldiers, rape, murder, slavery and every other evil in the world. We aren't and it's not!

Muslims stay silent regarding child recruitement by Islamists (do nothing against it). If others try to stand up, Muslims call it hypocricy and try to minimize the problem. I am completely lost here...and speechless...

The difference is, if you were to say that all black people should be judged based on what goes on in the Congo, you'd rightly be called a bigot. People should absolutely talk about child soldiers and slavery and murder and terrorism and abuse of women as general social ills that all of us can participate in solving. To blame it all on the Muslims is facile, unconstructive and ultimately dangerously naive.
