Egyptian court disbands NGO that promoted peace with Israel
By JERUSALEM POST STAFF
An Egyptian voluntary organization founded to strengthen the peace process with Israel was disbanded by an Egyptian administrative court recently, according to an article in the Egyptian opposition weekly Al-Usbu last week.
According to the report, a suit was filed in September, 1998 by attorney and Ambassador Ibrahim Yusri, former director of the Foreign Ministry's Department of International Law and Agreements, seeking the disbanding of the Cairo Association for Peace and suspension of its activities.

I would imagine that if the trial was held anywhere in the Arab/Muslim world the result would have been the same.
