One killed in mall bombing in Israel
Monday, November 4, 2002 Posted: 12:52 PM EST (1752 GMT)

KFAR SABA, Israel (CNN) -- An explosion set off by a suicide bomber rocked a shopping mall in this town near Tel Aviv Monday, killing a bystander, police said.

Hospital officials said at least 15 people were wounded, one seriously. An infant and a 2-year-old girl were among the wounded, the officials said.

The bomber was killed, police said.

The blast took place inside the Canyon Arim mall next to an electronics store and near a restaurant called the Burger Ranch, witnesses told Israeli television.

They said the bomber detonated the blast as he stood near a group of people.

So Israel looses another citizen and another Palestinian dead hero/martyr is created.

The families of the dead, dying and injured Israelis weep and the Palestinians/Arabs celebrate. Arafat authorizes his accounting department to issue a check in the amount of $ 25,000.00 US to the family of the suicide bomber for services rendered.

Somewhere in Iraq another 1,000 barrels of oil is pumped from the ground to pay for yet another suicide bombing. The oil that should pay for food and medicine for Iraqis has paid for the deaths, maiming and destruction of Israelis.

Yes my condolences to the families of this latest attack.

    Very well said.

And somewhere in one of the terrorism cesspools of the Palestinian areas, the mass murderer's family is elevated into a position of prominence in the community.

After all, their son was a good Muslim willing to die for what is apparently the ultimate Islamic cause -- the mass murder of innocent people whose only "crime" is being non-Muslims.

Just another bloody day in the global Jihad that will be ignored by the hypocritical Arabist EU. There will be no broadcasts of the incident and no bedside interviews with the wounded Israelis. No protests in college campuses and no debates on how much land the Muslims should give up to settle the conflict.

On the other hand, Israel will be expected to bury its dead while promising not to take real action against the terrorists who continue to commit crimes against humanity daily.

It wouldn't matter. Even if they take no action at all they are condemmed for existing and causing someone else to be 'forced' to take action.

    Ok, realistically.

What would happen if Israel just nutted-up and pushed the pals out of the country and told the rest of the Arabs to kiss their butts? UN sanctions? Israel would thrive without these palistinian losers there. Kick them all out.

Realistically, the EU would make some nasty speeches at the UN. Russia would make some speeches, too.
China would make some speeches, as well.
France, as spokesman for global Arab terrorism would yell with a French accent.
The US would pressure Israel to let the Arabs back in, and would not object to UN resolutions against Israel.

Overall, there would be plenty of threats, but no real action because of Israel's strong military position.

There would be a trade embargo for about 6 months.

Then life would resume as normal, but much better, as the Palestinians settle back into their historic homeland in Jordan and the Arabian desert, and many lives would be saved the long run.

You really think life will return back to normal? I think Terrorism will increase 10 fold, and the Iranians will have a better "excuse" to nuke Israel, if that happens Israel will never live in peace, not that they are living in peace rite now.

The situation you provided is dream like.

i found this post from "LittleGreenFootballs" Amd while its a bit harsh it reflects my sentiment.

" The Israelis do not deserve a state. They have elected a government which has permited the uninterrupted slaughter of its citizens for 2 years. A government which kisses the asses of its enemies while it is at war, a government which is guided by the international policies of the US and EU.

If the Israelis are incapable of fighting their enemies then I agree with Hamas - there is no justification for Israel's existence.

Masochistic and suicidal countries have no right to exist. "

terrorism will increase ten fold if the Palestinians are transferred? Oh yean makes a lot of sence. It would be far tougher for them to cross a clearly marked international border guarded by soldiers.

Second,Iran would not risk Israeli retaliation to defend the rights of Palestinians.(also it has no nuke right now)

I don’t think anyone really stops to think about the severity of the situation in Israel. There’s more attacks stopped by the IDF, police or ordinary citizens than attacks that cause deaths and injuries.

If my memory serves me correctly there were 170 aborted suicide attacks during a 7-month period (recently) in Israel.

At some point Israel have nothing to loose by standing up to terrorist bullies and their supporters. Little by little their barbaric neighbors untangle the fibers of a civilized society.

Massive retaliation seems to be the answer.

Do you think if "Israel kicks them out" there will be an international border? Look at how much trouble the whole world even the US is giving it sometimes even if Israel kills couple of Palestians in retalition for terror, the concept of kicking them out is a good "dream" thats about it.

Im talking about terrorism in general, not just in Israel, all over the world will increase 10 fold.

Iran is real close to getting a nuclear weapon in my opinion, look at how all of a sudden out of nowhere India and Pakistan said they had nukes, Iran will get their hands on them eventually.

And If you think Iran would care about Israeli retaliation your "crazy", they would find it an honor if they die in an Israeli reatliation, as long as they commited good damage, this is the government that send thousands of unarmed teens to Iraq, trust me on this they are willing to risk thousands of people for big damage in Israel, thats their mentality.

The only solution is peace with the arabs and iran.
