Unhappy Hamas gunmen murder four Israelis in ambush near Hebron

Hamas gunmen murder four Israelis in ambush near Hebron

Two of the victims were a pregnant woman and her husband. The gunmen sprayed their car at the Beni Naim junction near Kiryat Arba Tuesday night, Aug. 31. They then approached the vehicle and shot all four victims again at point-blank range to make sure they were dead. Hamas leaders threatened to sabotage the Israeli-Palestinian talks in Washington this week with a wave of terror. DEBKAfile's military sources note: The IDF and security authorities failed to anticipate this attack.

Last Wednesday, Aug. 25, DEBKAfile reported the Hamas threat. Damascus-based Hamas political leader Khaled Meshaal warned in a speech last week that his terrorists were set for a round of terrorist attacks against Israelis and the Palestinian Authority alike if the talks in Washington go forward.
Mountain look very spectacular from distance. Prostitutes look very beautiful when they make-up. War stories are very interesting. All these three things are interesting from distance.

Hamas will do all it can to sabotage the peace talks. Israel should find these murderers and make an example. More may occur. It's sad that all this must happen one week before our High Holy Days. The world is a truly an evil place. To the families of those murdered: "May the Almighty comfort you amongst the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem."Amen.

But the Ground Zero Mosque Imam says Hamas are not terrorists

Exclamation Re: Hamas gunmen murder four Israelis in ambush near Hebron

My colleague Jack asks, "Would it have made any difference?"

This is something that the government officials who took away the gun permit will have to bear and that this policy must be reconsidered for all Israeli citizens.

Authorities Took Firearm Permit from One of the Victims

    by Gil Ronen

One of the people murdered by Palestinian Authority terrorists Tuesday used to carry a gun for self-defense, but Israeli authorities took away his permit in late 2009 – leaving him defenseless.
Attorney Yitzchak Bam of the Forum for the Land of Israel represented the deceased man in his legal attempts to win back his gun permit. “In December, he received a letter according to which the permit is suspended because of closed criminal files regarding disturbance of the public peace,” he related. “The last closed file was from the period immediately after the Disengagement,” he said. The permit was extended after the files were closed, however, making it hard to understand why authorities suddenly decided to revoke it.
Shortly after the police's letter arrived at his home, police came to the man's home and took his weapon. An attempt to appeal the decision was rejected.
"The team for the Justice Department's law enforcement in Judea and Samaria , headed by Attorney Shai Nitzan, is the one that set the criteria regarding the licensing of firearms in Judea and Samaria ,” Bam said.
