Arab land ownership

I've seen this image of a series of maps floating around for a while and always thought it was wrong. I'm mainly concerned with the first map. Straight off the bat I'll say it's incorrect because it assumes either
a) that there was a Palestinian entity (i.e. a state) which was recognized to own all of the land labelled green
or b) that large tracts of land, adding up to all of the land labelled green, were owned by individual Arabs or by the Arab communities living on them

I'm not really interested in refuting that particular series of maps, but just getting one which accurately and clearly shows Arab land ownership pre-1948. Does anyone have?

The map implicitly refers to national land ownership, not personal ownership. So the picture is entirely wrong, as before 1948 the British owned all the land, and after obviously the Palestinians never owned any of it until it looked like "stage 4" on the picture.

I know. I'm looking for one/some which show personal ownership of land, though.

Hmm ok misread your post. You're right it would look pretty good to have a series of maps that showed areas where Palestinians lived pre-1948 and in 2011, which would look pretty much the same save for some villages in Israel. Anyway it's true it doesn't seem easy to find on Google. You might have more luck with books using something like Amazon's search inside/Google books
