Syria's Sunni majority would be less likely to be allied with Assad's Iranian and Lebanese Shiite (Hezbollah) allies.

Lebanon's Hezbollah is preparing for a possible war with Israel to relieve perceived Western pressure to topple Syrian President Bashar Assad, its guardian ally, sources close to the movement say.

The radical Shi'ite group is watching the unrest in neighboring Syria with alarm and is determined to prevent the West from exploiting popular protests to bring down Assad.

Why don't they just bombard Syrian women and children with their rockets. It's not as if anyone who even notices will care. Though I would be concerned that they launch rockets at Israel FROM Syria. Which of course would invite a response and heavens to betsy if one Syrian out of 10,000 is killed by the IDF instead of Arabs. It would be funny if, as a response, Israel decides to act like a military power for once and flattens the entire Syrian government and military command structure. The Hezbollah would have to swoop in to clean up. Very few civilian causalities, no more Assad and a rubble strewn country now ABANDONED by Iran since it no longer serves any purpose for them. Hell maybe Turkey can occupy and annex them.
