From news article:Senior officials in Jerusalem said Monday that Israel has received information that organizers of the Gaza flotilla may be bringing chemical substances on the ships to use against Israeli soldiers to prevent them from boarding the ships.
The senior officials also said that Israel had been notified that several extremists among the Gaza flotilla participants had recently claimed that they intend on “shedding the blood of IDF soldiers.”
...Israeli officials claim that two activists participating in the flotilla have connections to Hamas. They named the first one as Amin Abu Rashad, who they claim is one of the head Dutch organizers for the Gaza flotilla and had served in the past as the head of the Hamas’ Charitable Foundation in Holland. The foundation closed down following Dutch authorities’ probe into its involvement in funding terror activities.
The second activist is Mohammed Ahmed Hanon, which Israel claims is a Hamas activist who stands at the head of the ABSPP, which is involved in transferring funds to terrorists.

From news article:In a conversation with a senior IDF security source on Tuesday, I was told that passengers on the American ship Audacity of Hope said in a public gathering that they want to kill IDF soldiers. While the IDF had said previously that passengers on a ship wished to kill IDF soldiers, the ship had not been named.
The same senior source repeated the story about passengers planning to throw sulfuric acid at IDF soldiers that was reported earlier.
The organizations behind the flotilla have ties to Hamas. There are more than 30 organizations that are involved in the flotilla, some of whom are connected to Hamas and some of whom are connected to the Muslim Brotherhood.
One group is ECSG, which shares a chairman with the 'Palestinian Return Center,' an organization that has been banned in Israel as a terrorist organization. Another charity involved in the flotilla is the al-Aqsa Fund, which has branches throughout Europe.
Amin Abu-Rashed, one of the main leaders of the Italian-Dutch group, runs Hamas' charity fund in the Netherlands.
Muhammad Ahmed Hanoun is another leader who is connected to Hamas and not to IHH.
There are Turkish participants in the flotilla including from the IHH. They will be on more than two vessels.
The IDF will be able to send video from sea this time and it is allowing 12 foreign journalists to come on the Navy ship. They will be able to broadcast from the ship. But there will be no live feed into which we can tap.

From news article:IDF sources claimed Monday night that new intelligence information obtained by Israel in recent days shows that participants of the flotilla planning to break Israel’s sea blockade over the Gaza Strip later this week plan to kill IDF soldiers who board their ships.
According to the information obtained by the IDF, some of the participants have prepared a number of sacks with sulfur, which they plan to pour on the soldiers as they board the vessels.
“This is a chemical weapon and if poured on a soldier it can paralyze him,” an IDF source told The Jerusalem Post Monday night. “If the sulfur is then lit on fire, the soldier will light up like a torch.”
The information was obtained from closed meetings held by participants on the ships during which some voiced their intention to “murder Israeli soldiers,” according to the IDF. Also, despite earlier predictions that members of the Turkish organization IHH would not participate in the flotilla, it now appears that some members will sail with the ships alongside additional radical Islamic activists.
