    Aharonovitch Wants Gaza Op

Gaza is a boil that needs to be lanced.

Minister of Public Security Yitzhak Aharonovitch came out in support of a large-scale military operation in Gaza on Tuesday, Israel's Channel 2 reports.

"Israel should respond to attacks with broad military action in Gaza," Aharonovitch said. "We have to deal with the threat."

Aharonovitch added no distinction between injuries and deaths resulting from rocket and mortar fire from Gaza should be made.

The Minister's comments come the day after a bedouin woman was wounded by a rocket in her tent near her husband's flocks in an open field near Ashkelon.

There has been an uptick in attacks from Hamas-run Gaza in the past month after a brief lull following the Fatah-Hamas unity agreement in Cairo earlier this year...

Gaza calls! This isn't going to stop short of reoccupation and cleaning out of that viper's nest.

Two Grad rockets were fired from Gaza late Wednesday evening after a period of relative calm in the south.

The first exploded at around 10:30 pm in open spaces between Sderot and Kiryat Gat, near a town in the Lakhish region. No injuries or damage were reported.

The second exploded some two hours later at the entrance to the southern city of Ashkelon, near a gas station. No injuries or damage were reported in this case, either...

Not if they do it right if an apperture of the right dimension is opened and pressure in the correct point is applied, then the boil will be evacuated of all its contaminants.

Yes. Hamas must be utterly crushed if we are ever to stop their rocket attacks. We left Gaza prematurely. This is not a pleasant prospect, but I believe it must be done.

Are you suggesting that if food, water, and electricity was denied to the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip and military pressure applied that they would be forced to exit via the Rafah border TRANSFERRING our problem to Egypt and setting a precedent and important lesson for the Palestinians residing in Israel and Judea and Samaria?

If we ever get to the point where the entire world is against us and the Palestinians have not reformed their naughty ways, I would get on board with this program. I'm not there yet, but I am not ruling out TRANSFER if I ever come to the conclusion that peace is impossible and this is the only way to survive.
