Hitler was NOT a devout Christian, but a NOMINAL one at best. Sure he made the token visit to church, but that was to show the masses that he wasn't anti-Christian. If Hitler had his way, Christianity would have been outlawed before long and everyone would have had to swear TOTAL loyalty to the "Feuhrer".

A man that killed 6 million + and he couldnt fight religion or be a dominant power in religion. Hard to believe.
I guess his 'Cathedral of light' was only to represent his hatred to Jews. Not his love for Christianity

I agree. This evil man wore religion as a badge to accomplish his evil deeds. Christians, as followers of Christ, who was and is a Jews, would and should never speak, act or think negatively against the Jewish people.
Truth to be told being jewish is not belonging to a certain ethnic group. For example I have seen many converts of Iranian origins and both original jews that cannot be specified into certain group. We have jews from all backgrounds but one thing is for certain. Israelis have alot in common with both Iranians, Kurds and some of the turks because we have shared a long history together and we have genetic tests to proove this. I think both in 2001 and 2010-2011 these tests were carried out. You could say that jews have accumulated a certain type of genes over the years because they tended to be hated and they were a very close community. The rabbis did not make it any easier for people to convert either because we all know how though it is to become accepted into jewish community.

I know I'm treading on thin ice here so to speak, so let me make a disclaimer first: To me race does not mean I can judge people based on it. I don't believe in superior and inferior races... every human race has brilliant people, every human race has morons and most of us are somewhere in between.
One can usually tell a Jewish person from other people by physical characteristics and these characteristics are similar also between the "European-" Jews and the "African-" Jews. So I think to call being Jewish purely a religious choice is wrong. My wife is Jewish, but laments the fact that unlike her mother she does not look it very much. She is Jewish by race, since she does not follow much of the religion other than baking good things for the traditional Jewish holidays.
I am quite mixed (German, Silesian, Polish and Jewish) and the Jews in the mix are 3 generations removed from me, but apparently I look very Jewish (because I look like my Grandfather and his mother was Jewish). I seem to look so Jewish that in Israel most people think I'm making fun of them when I admit that I'm the goy in our relationship.
So while people converting to Judaism will then also be Jews by religion, I think being Jewish is not just a religion and neither is every Jew following the religion.
