One has to laugh at the entire fiasco; the UN in particular. The UN is no more than a front for rogue states, the terrorist they support, Hezbollah being one of the many. The UN is redundant, washed-up, not unlike it's predecessor 'the League of Nations'. For the life of me, I cannot comprehend why the West continues to partake and support this rancid and corrupt institution.
I am sure there are those whom believe and trust the UN serves a useful purpose. I will gladly listen; however, I doubt anyone will ever change my viewpoint.

OH! it is more, much more. It is a way to bleed resources from western nations and infiltrate their security just for starters. It's a way to legitimise their own brand of terror and demonise those who oppose it. It's a way to undermine our perceptions of truth and morality by minimising what we believe historically, substituting lies, myths and propaganda.
It also keeps a few thousand who would be otherwise unemployable off the streets.
When your enemy shakes his sword at you, you can defend yourself. When he joins your club and ingratiates himself with your friends then you're in trouble.

I would think we agree totally, regarding the terrorist pimping UN, farmboy. It should be dismantled and freighted to Tehran, where it would feel much more at home.
