As far as I know there have been no agreements on one, two, or three state solutions, only suggestions. I get very irritated that overseas politicians will take a proposal and then try and set it in stone. NOTHING has been agreed because Abbas cannot come to the negotiating table unless he gets assurity that Israel will accept all of the decendants from the 1948 runners.
Settlement doesn't mean diddly squat. It's just another excuse to try and lay the blame on Israels door for the peace process not moving forwards. If Israel met every condition that it was asked then there would be yet another excuse found so that Abbas didn't have to negotiate. If he is waiting for Livni and her ilk to get into power so that he can run rings arround them,then he will be sorely dissapointed because Israel is getting stronger, not weaker and Livnis chances of getting elected to PM are about the same as his in getting the refugees accepted into Israel..

Not only that, but I also have an inkling that even Livni wouldn't be the pushover that Abbas may imagine her to be. It is one thing for her to be critical of Bibi from the sidelines, for political reasons, but what she would do if she would gain power may be entirely different. She too would have constraints against making stupid concessions.

Of course, I could be wrong but that is my gut feeling anyway ...
