Arab hate: A Muslim Brotherhood rally in Cairo's most prominent mosque Friday turned into a venomous anti-Israel protest, with attendants vowing to "one day kill all Jews."
Some 5,000 people joined the rally, called to promote the "battle against Jerusalem's Judaization." The event coincided with the anniversary of the United Nations' partition plan in 1947, which called for the establishment of a Jewish state.
However, most worshippers who prayed at the mosque Friday quickly left it before the Muslim Brotherhood's rally got underway. A group spokesman urged attendants to remain for the protest, asking them not to create a bad impression for the media by leaving.

Speakers at the event delivered impassioned, hateful speeches against Israel, slamming the "Zionist occupiers" and the "treacherous Jews." Upon leaving the rally, worshippers were given small flags, with Egypt's flag on one side and the Palestinian flag on the other, as well as maps of Jerusalem's Old City detailing where "Zionists are aiming to change Jerusalem's Muslim character."

I was just reading this before logging on to IF. I say this often but it does not shock me nor, I suspect, others on IF. Obama comes across as a true believer of the Muslim Brotherhood viewing them as progressives for a democratic Egypt. Honestly, I am getting utterly irate, in fact worse than that, at the dolt-heads like Obama and others in the west who deem the MB as a non-threat to Israel and the stability of the Middle East, in general.

Democratization will never set root in Egypt or other ME states - the so-called Arab Spring is a ruse by leftists, the Obama-ites whose sole basis of belief is one of wishful thinking and utter gullibility.

If any had the guts to stay and refute the hate speeches then there could have possibly been a chance. By their cowardice, they have condemned their children to an insecure future.

On the other hand, those in Egypt with the guts you describe are prone to having them forcefully removed. I'm hesitant to call them "cowards."

One of the self righteous Palestinian bloggers, by the pseudonym SINJIM, who routinely calls me racist responded to me this way when I mentioned this Cairo hate-fest: He said that Arabs tend to use Jews and Israelis interchangeably. OK that makes me feel a lot better. I guess they want to kill only all the Israelis, not all the Jews. And everybody knows there is nothing wrong with that, right? That is not racist, right? Idiots!!!

The Salafists said they plan on instituting the jiyza tax. I imagine they'll have to create a zakah tax as well. But the upside is that women's testimony will be worth half that of a man and an infidel nothing at all. I can't wait for the happy times.
