From Germany - the left and right united in Antisemitism

And cynically I see nothing new in this article. But it nicely encapsulates the phenomenon. We see the same thing here in the US where the 'progressives', the far left and the Larouchite far right are joined in a weird libertarian thread that connects them all to antisemitism, Jew bashing, Israel hating, odd conspiracy theories, "Trutherism", isolationism and the usual crackpot groups.

Re: From Germany - the left and right united in Antisemitism

Let's remember that Germany was justifying the campaign against the Jews with the words of their 'patron saint,' the anti-Semitic scum, Martin Luther. At the same time they had a blood feud against many others in Europe. It looks like the progeny of the dogs of the '30s are going mad again, and that their rabid anti-Semitism is contageous and growing at an alarming rate around the world. Perhaps only HaShem will be able to put all these rabid dogs down.

Re: From Germany - the left and right united in Antisemitism

It is very sad, especially because I know it to be true. Well I guess Hitler already recognized it in the 30s, "The best Nazis are those that can be recruited from the Communists", which was one of the reasons why the Nazi flag emphasized the red color so much.
You would think (well I had thought anyway) that in Germany after ww2 people would have learned... I had thought this until I dared to get married to an Israeli. I can now see just how bad it really is in German politics in the German population and sad to say within my own family of whom I thought they were quite open. But now they (all of them very un-religious as well as anti- religious) would rather take the side of the Mullahs in Iran just so they can stick it to Israel and consequently my wife. Needless to say that although we (still-) live in Germany we visit my in-laws (in Israel) much more often than my family. My in-laws like me even though I am German and even though they had lost family members in the Holocaust, my family likes my wife as long as they can forget she is a Jew. Well I'm glad there still is dad (the only member of my family my wife actually likes), he of course lives in Canada not in Germany so unfortunately we rarely meet him.
    Anyway getting side tracked here.
Just meant to say, before anyone defends Germany, the article is all too true and this situation has put a real strain on my life if luckily not my relationship with my wife.
