"The windshield was smashed and the side of the vehicle was also damaged. I continued driving until we reached the military checkpoint where I complained to the soldiers about the attack. They told me there was nothing to do and instructed me to file a complaint with the Coordination and Liaison Directorate. They too did not know what to do," Abu Zitun recounted.

With all due respect, I can't condone this. Not all of those workers are terrorists (maybe none of them are). Aside from that, this only invites more terrorism against innocent Israelis (including children).

I agree, but this was bound to happen when the government and its agencies become incapable of a fair and equal application of the law. When citizens are forced to take the law into their own hands to get some form of justice then somebody high up is not doing their job right.
Price tags were inevitable for the same reasoning.

Look, believe me, I understand the frustration all too well. I am a law abiding citizen of Israel, have never been in trouble with the law, work two jobs to support my family, show up for miluim (reserve duty) enthusiastically when called up, yet I am amongst one of the most hated populations in Israel because of where I live (for no other reason; have never so much as looked at an Arab cross-eyed, let alone thrown a stone or damaged property). And with all that, I cannot condone the above incident or the attacking of the IDF base/soldiers. We are not our neighbors and I want it to stay that way (not to look good for the rest of the world, but for our own soul)....
