Why won't the Guardian publish something like this?

To 972's and Yossi Gurwitz's credit, at least he pulled any references to Chabad from his article after a spokesperson for Chabad contacted +972 and informed them that Andrew Adler was not part of Chabad:

Update: A previous version of this post relied on information from another paper, and linked Andrew Adler to the Chabad movement. A spokesperson for Chabad contacted +972 denying this link, and we have therefore removed references to Chabad.

Other than that, though, the article is a pile of garbage.

Believe me, the thought that Gilad Atzmon is still a Jew in the eyes of Jewish law makes me want to vomit, but who am I to reject halacha?

At the risk of taking this thread off tangent (Dayag, let me know if a separate thread is warranted or feel free to branch this post of mine off to another thread), where do you draw the line for remaining a Jew, Mediocrates?
