If Saudis open their airspace, Israeli jets can be refueled in the air. Other option would be American airbases located in Kuwait and Qatar. Of course, even if Israel convince "all those arabs" there will be another obstacle called obama. Maybe it's time to build an aircraft carrier.
If Israel built an aircraft carrier, the only effective place to station it would be in the Indian Ocean, given the geography of the region.
Sorry guys but building an aircraft carrier isn't like building a set of Ikea shelves. There is no quick assembly and unlike automobiles you don't walk into a showroom and say "I'll take that one" then within a couple of hours drive it home. Five years would be a very quick delivery unless Israel decided to go Chinese and in that case it would start off as a ship and finish up as a submarine.

didn't read the whole thread, so I don't know if this option was already brought up.
However, what about a commando operation?
First, you send Mossad operators to prepare the ground - gather the info, prepare safe houses, receive equipment that can be prepared in advance, etc.
depending on the timeframe (some operators could be sent years in advance) the operators could infiltrate the targets as hired personnel.
then you can drop the commando units, incl' explosive experts and everyone else needed. If the preparation was correct, this can also take several months, let the soldiers really prepare and know their targets well.
then you can execute the operation - either as a strike, or long term series of small-scale operations (guerrilla-like warfare) - perhaps with aid of local opposition.
combine that with digital warfare that we've seen (stuxnet) and you can significantly slow down Iranian progress and give the diplomatic option more leeway.

i just wish no war will ever happen against israel , usa and india .
i mention these three countries because these are the most targeted countries by terrorism .
