I can't really make it clearer for you. In a nutshell, dictatorships are immune, dictators are not. If left to their devices of course. There is no spin, it's very plain and sad. And I am restricting the evolutionary periods by, say, an average human life span. In 500 years perhaps Egypt will become the beacon of liberty, I am not particularly concerned about it. What we see and have to deal with is that an Iranian "government" can be replaced by another "Iranian government" - it won't effect the regime change. Putin is different from Gorbachev or Stalin but it's the same evil empire.

Look, I have no idea why you are trying to twist my words - but if you keep doing that you might as well argue with yourself. Where did I say that you are "not worth talking to"? I said I find arguments USELESS as of NO USE - they do not lead to anything productive or constructive ideas etc. I see people supporting Obama ideologically construed and therefore not open to objective analysis of his term in office - which has been one continuous miserable failure from the day one.

No, it wasn't. Read again, I have nothing to add.

Spin, spin, spin. You are clearly saying I am not worth talking to because I am an Obama supporter.

Anyway, you are following Obama - I find it useless to argue and reason with the genuine Obama fans.
And now you are saying I am "ideologically construed and therefore not open to objective analysis of his term in office"?! Anyone who supports Obama is "not open to objective analysis"?! Like you have no ideological biases!

You call his first term a miserable failure, but I mentioned three of his successes.

Things are getting a little too heated. Let's discuss events and ideas and not each other.

A friendly reminder to all. Please feel free to disagree with others as vehemently as you want, but DO NOT GET PERSONAL.

from the rules of the road:

Everyone has the right to express his/her opinion, regardless of how vehemently some may disagree with their views. However, common courtesy is required.

    Personal attacks are not allowed.

    Thanks.
