Yes, I agree. I miss bararallu and GratefulFred's posts too.

    to whom it may concern:
I did not leave the forum. I have a life outside of cyberspace.
I also thought it good for me to stay away for a while, to signal my end of participation in a few threads, and to return when new ones open.
indeed, if it was not so empty here, my absence wouldn't be so glaring.
and I am male. Sharon is a bi-gender name in Hebrew (much like Robin in English)

    Sharonbn-

I did not leave the forum.
I am glad to hear that!!!!

Figured as such. We all do, which is one of the reasons this forum is so dead. Mediocrates basically carried this forum, as he started multiple threads EVERY day.

I can understand that. You also used to be a moderator on this forum, so back in the days I think you used to post more.

I knew you were male but I wanted you to be the one to say it. Noam is also a bi-gender name, as is Ma'ayan (although less so). Had a crush on a Robin in high-school, but that is another story

Aliyah, I must say I don't subscribe to the recent trend of turning traditional boys' names into bi-gender ones.
Back in my childhood, Noam and Yuval used to be boys' only names. no more. I don't like it...
and even more so, I don't like the trend of giving foreign names to Hebrew children. like Emily, Emma, Coral ...

Wow, I didn't know Yuval was a bi-gender name. My kids have beautiful Hebrew names (and ONLY Hebrew names). Coral?!?! Foreign or not, WTH?!?!

Re: Should Israel give up the Temple Mount for a real peace?

Here is an example of how far Israel bends over to be tolerant to Muslim sentiments ...

During a visit to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem on Wednesday morning, a Jewish student was told by Islamic Waqf officials to take off his kippah. The 20-year-old from London, England, was in Israel as part of a student mission. He said he was told by three separate Waqf monitors to take off the Jewish head-covering because it was offensive to them. The student told Israeli media, "I have experienced anti-Semitism in England, but I never thought that in Judaism's holiest site I would be subjugated to such discrimination."
WAQF to Jewish Student: "No Kippot on Temple Mount

Israel allows such acts of intolerance against Jews in territories that are actually under it's control militarily, just to please Arab/Muslim sentiments. Yet according to some, Israel is the intolerant country which discriminates against Arabs and is "an apartheid state". I say to those blind people: Go Get A Life ...
