Denmark to label West Bank settlement products

The idea that the settlements are illegal is a lie. The idea that Jews don't have a right to live in East Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria is anti-Semitic. If the Danes think this will advance the chances for peace, they are mistaken. If anything, foreign support emboldens the Palestinians in their intransigence.

Denmark will begin marking Israeli goods originating in Judea and Samaria with a special label, a Danish newspaper reported Sunday. In an interview the paper, Danish Foreign Minister Villy Sovndal said, "This is a step that clearly shows consumers that the products are produced under conditions that not only the Danish government, but also European governments, do not approve of. It will then be up to consumers whether they choose to buy the products or not."

Re: Denmark to label West Bank settlement products

Nothing Denmark or other EU member states conjure to fit their agenda is shocking. It is the same old, same old in Europe; their racist bent didn't cease with the end of WWII... it was tucked away in the closet until Israel/Jew bashing was once again deemed fashionable. Not that it ever fell out of fashion completely.
