I think that the other purpose of the rocket attacks against Israeli civilians is to coax Israel into committing what they may describe as a massacre "of innocent Palestinians" to whip up public opinion against Israel and isolate it. And the media are aiding and abetting Hamas because they never report, in depth, about the plight of Israeli civilians. I guess, therefore, that if Israel eventually would react to the provocations, the western public would not be aware about the context and it would be easier to once again vilify Israel. Make no mistake about it, Israel is under attack from another enemy. An enemy that is even more dangerous than Hamas, sections of the western media. Mainly the extreme left and some left leaning media.

The media will condemn Israel regardless of the facts (as always). You really want Israel not do defend itself because of the media?

War with Hamas in inevitable. We can do it now, or we can wait until a time of Hamas' choosing. The new Egyptian government will be opening the border to Gaza, allowing Hamas to arm itself to the teeth. And the longer we wait, the more likely Hamas will be backed by the Muslim-Brotherhood controlled Egyptian army after Islamic rule has been consolidated in Egypt.

No, I regret my earlier comment in which I said to Sylvia that it would be better for Sderot residents to behave like the Brits under the Blitz. I think Israel should put a stop to this nonsense by whatever means and no matter what the cost is to Palestinian Arabs. Just stop it, Israel's decade long restraint is too long.

The reason why I mentioned the media is because people of good will need to be reminded of the negative role that that many media outlets play when it comes to Israel.

    I agree with you.
