Is the supreme being in Judaism an "all loving" being?

What I mean by this is does the old testament or the torah state that certain people will go to hell for eternity because they are not jewish?

Does Judaism require that a person convert in order to avoid going to hell?

Or do all people go to heaven in Judaism?

    Does anyone know?

    Thanks,

This is interesting for me personally, as I am contemplating converting to Judaism.

    Good luck if you do.

Have you decided whether the conversion would be Orthodox, Conservative or Reform?

Very interesting, I haven't considered that.

From the point of view of perpetuating and strengthening a religion, I tend to regret that Judaism does not proselytize. A good marketing and sales program wouldn't hurt.

But, alas, it is not our way.

May I differ with you here? I believe that both Christians and Jews have the ability to attract multitudes by being who we are without apology. To quote Francis of Assisi:
Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words.
It is not our sales pitch that wins men to our faith but our faith that draws those who seek to fill the void within.
