Man, shut up. You're like a child. And you are not helping your cause at all. Believe me. You make yourself look dumb. Do yourself a favor and dig up more falsehoods and sit atop your soap box and tell more lies instead.

maybe it's ok in your part of the world for journalists to ignore and mislead by not reporting the full facts so as to form public opinions. NPR is so far from permitting a balanced report of the truths about the Mideast and many studies have shown this biased pose.

NPR actually are betraying the public's trust in the information they provide. They should either stop reporting and get their manipulating of public opinion garbage off the air, or convert their reporting policy to show objectivity.

NPR may otherwise contribute for terrorists feeling support for increased terror on Israel. If NPR has a political stance it is unethical to pretend they are objective reporters, however it is very convenient to hide this fact if NPR's intent is to promote anti Israel attitudes.

OK, an eye for an eye: je ne vous comprends pas...

in fact ANY journalist is biased in his own way, noone will present all the facts available (simply because there are too many) and people will choose the ones most convenient to proove their case.
Any us-media is far from permitting a balanced report of the truths about iraq for instance... it has been revealed by many studies that the mainstream us-television channels and newspapers are biased.
NPR actually are betraying the public's trust in the information they provide. They should either stop reporting and get their manipulating of public opinion garbage off the air, or convert their reporting policy to show objectivity.
Can you give me one example of an unbiased newspaper or televisionchannel? cnn is manipulating the facts as well, which i notice every time i turn on my tv (it is the only American newschannel we're able to receive): lots of americans discussing about the war, but few Iraqi or arabs, and sometimes downright biased. (for example the bush-administration gets half an hour to explain its propaganda, the French or Russians only some minuts, facts that are inconvenient for the us-policy are not reported for, such as the positive remarks of Blix, etc. ), the bias was even more obvious during the kosovo-war.

NPR may otherwise contribute for terrorists feeling support for increased terror on Israel. If NPR has a political stance it is unethical to pretend they are objective reporters, however it is very convenient to hide this fact if NPR's intent is to promote anti Israel attitudes.
as i said noone is really objective, lots of American media are not objective either, but in favor of the israeli side, in order to promote anti-Arab attitudes.

Well, then, who do you believe? You probably do not believe anyone at all if these are your arguments.

Precisely. Should NPR be a non-government sponsored company it would have the right to say whatever it wants. But since US Tax dollars are going into it it is required to have some semblance of impartiality. Furthermore, even should it be a private company, a boycott is still well within our rights and not against free speech. A boycott is simply a method of which to inform, in forceful terms, are opposition to a specific action by NPR. Just as the Civil Rights Bus Boycotts were legal, so are these.

Takeo I would have thought you would rally behind anyone's efforts to counter speech with protest. What else is freedom for? Pretty sanctimonious to carp about freedom and then decry its exercize.

There is actually a pro-palestinian radio station? Boo-Hoo. 98% of American media outlets are pro-Israeli.

This is an utter joke, boycott npr, they also want to boycott NY times, Washington Post, Minneapolis Star, Philadelphia Inquirer.

This is America not the Soviet Union or anything, Freedom of the press must be respected.

"They"? Exactly who do you mean by "they"? I hope you are not of the ridiculous opinion that there is some sort of secret Zionist Lobby pulling the strings of the American media. There are some people who disagree with some media outlets. These people, of who stretch several nationalities and religions, make the individual choice to not purchase or listen to these outlets and make that choice for each outlet seperately. It is their right, their freedom of speech, to do so, and furthermore it is their right and duty, in order to continue the free run of democracy and capitalism(the concept of which is that when a company does not deliver a satisfactory product, and for a media company that would be news, the customers abandon that company for another one that can provide a more satisfactory product, exercising their right to choose), to attempt to spread their views. It is not infringing on freedom of speech or press to do this, on the contrary, to prevent someone from doing this would be infringing upon those rights. As long as I do not forcibly prevent you from saying and listening to what you want (as you are trying to do by not allowing a boycott) I am not infringing on any of your rights.

ok, lion, so any call to boycott israeli products would be legitimate according to your opinion? Noone will prevent you to buy israeli products!

By all means, it is quite legal, if not exactly moral seeing as Israel has not done anything deserving of boycott. It would only not be legal if it was governments in which case it would be infringing on the people's right to make that decision. Of course, it is also within my right of free speech and press, to do everything I can to persuade people to avoid your boycott.
