On March 5th, Palestinians specifically aimed a powerful missile at a residential building in an undisputed area of Israel. The missile was manufactured in a missile factory in the Palestinian refugee camp of Balata in Gaza.
The purpose of the Palestinians was was to deliberately mass murder as many Israeli citizens as possible who were just sitting innocently inside their homes in the evening at 5:50 pm.
Of the three missiles shot at the residential building, one hit and caused considerable damage, deaths and injuries.
Once it was determined that the missiles were fired from an Arab town in Gaza, IDF tanks were moved into that town to prevent further missile launches. The Palestinians complained of Israel "occupying" them by moving in the tanks.
The Israeli mayor of the town was angry that Sharon's government didn't take much stronger action 8 months ago when Palestinians shot RPGs into the same town.
In the photo, an Israeli toddler named Shilo Naamath, 16 months old, who was injured all over his body from shrapnel while playing in the courtyard of his home, is taken to a hospital. Inset is a photo of the remains of the missile shot by the Palestinians.
