    Is Europe funding Palestinian terror?

    Snip:

    Is Europe funding Palestinian terror?
New findings and new lawsuits are claiming that the European Union is knowingly sponsoring Palestinian terror. Investigative journalists Todd Pitock and Paul Kirby examine the controversy.

by Todd Pitock and Paul Kirby July 3, 2003

August 5, 2001 began as a normal mid-summer day for the Bloomberg family. Stephen and Tehiya, both 40 and parents of five, had recently learned the results of an ultrasound, and the five-month-old fetus in Tehiya's belly was a healthy boy. They went out shopping with their eldest, then-14-year-old Tzipora, and were on their way home when they got stuck behind a slow-moving car. Stephen, an aircraft engineer, waited until the coast was clear and pulled into the left lane to pass.

But the vehicle in front had slowed for a purpose, and as the Bloombergs pulled alongside, two men drew weapons and fired a fusillade, piercing their van with seventeen bullets. Tehiya and the baby she was carrying died instantly. Stephen and Tzipora survived. Their spinal injuries will keep them in wheelchairs for the rest of their lives. The alleged assailants were senior members of the Palestinian police, one the chief of the Tulkarem force.

I seem to recall that Israel presented evidence (last year) that some of the money that the EU gives to the Palestinians had been funding terrorism. In order for the suit to be successful I believe that it has to be proven (50% +) that the EU knew that the money was diverted to terrorists elements.

I noticed that the crime was committed in August of 2001 and that was prior to Israel providing documentation to the EU of the fraudulent diversion of funds. I would however agree that if the crime were committed post Israel presenting their documented findings to the EU then there would be liability.

In any event I hope they have a successful suit against the PA.

SHURAT HADIN WARNS EUROPEAN LEADERS AGAINST PROVIDING FINANCIAL AID TO PA ECURITY CHIEF DAHLAN
    Friday, July 04, 2003

"Providing Funds To Dahlan Is No Different Than Supplying Dynamite & Nails to Hamas"

(Tel Aviv) Shurat HaDin - Israel Law Center has written to the leaders of British, French, German & Spanish Parliaments urging them NOT to provide the Palestinian Authority's (PA) Preventive Security Service with any additional funding. The letter comes in response to the recent "urgent request" from the PA's Security Chief Mohammed Dahlan, that the European Union provide his forces with an additional $400 million. Dahlan claims that he needs the funds in order to rebuild and re-equip the Preventive Security Service's depleted ranks and infrastructure.

Despite his recent rise to prominence as PA leader Mahmoud Abbas' security boss and his support from the Central Intelligence Agency, Dahlan and his former deputy, Rashid Abu Shabak, are the chief suspects in the November 20, 2000, bombing of an Israeli school bus outside of Kfar Darom (Gaza).
    ...
Dahlan and Abu Shabak are defendants in civil actions filed by the bus bombing victims and their families in Israel and the United States.

In the letter to the Parliament heads, Shurat HaDin Director Nitsana arshan-Leitner wrote that her organization is fearful that Dahlan will use he European funds to enlist and arm thousands of Hamas and Islamic Jihad members in his new Gaza militia. While previously serving as head of the Preventive Security Service, Dahlan's group had been at the forefront of terrorist attacks initiating from Gaza. The Preventive Security Service, which also operates under the nom de plume 'Martyrs of al-Aqsa', continues to carry out terrorist attacks and provides safe haven to fugitive Hamas terrorists- including master bomb maker Mohammed Deif.

In her letter to the European leaders, Darshan-Leitner noted that: "Dahlan is still the leading suspect in the November 2000 bombing of an Israeli school bus in Kfar Darom. This attack specifically targeted young Jewish children and school teachers. To provide additional funds to Dahlan is no different than European nations supplying dynamite and nails to Hamas."

Moreover, the letter alleges that Dahlan's Preventive Security Service officers are guilty of numerous other terror attacks against Israeli civilians that should be categorized as "crimes against humanity," which all European nations have signed international conventions obligating them to prosecute.
Have we tried this already? The Arabs need $$ millions to arm the Arab "security forces" - to supposedly squash terrorism - one must be completely blind, deaf and stupid to trust that "reformed" PA even wants to do this (actually Mazen says he won't), let alone be able.

Still no intention to accept Israel as a Jewish state by any Arab leader. The implementation of Hitler's plan goes forward full speed.

I think there’s just a little problem and that’s that the Jews will bite back. I had an Israeli working for me at the time of the six day war back in 1967. Jacob had an injured foot from a previous conflict; nevertheless as soon as the war broke out he was on the next plane to Israel.

The trouble is that the Israelis are being killed piecemeal and the rest of the world doesn’t really care one way or another. I don’t know if politicians are receiving graft or something along those lines. There must be something going on, because no country would stand for the sh!t, that the Israelis take from their neighbors.

I think that the Jews should have demanded somewhere around a third of Germany, at the end of WWII, perhaps the northern part that borders Denmark. That would have been fair in my opinion and by the way I also feel that they are entitled to the entire land mass of the WB and GS.

    How about the truth?

The reality is that the Nazis wanted to create a 1,000 year Riech and murdered the German Jews to achieve their goal. Of course they suffered a setback when they were defeated by the allies.

Their murderous reign generated a vacum and to create a larger tax base they started importing foreign workers. So another insane individual came along in history and opened up Europe for Islamic Fundamnetalsim, which will most likely lead to Muslim domination there by the end of this century.

You forgot to mention that the German population will die out in ~60 years due to decreasing birth rates.
So Germany will be lead by arabs/muslims who than will have full control over our military apparatus and thus finally rule the world.

So if you want to help us to stop this threat, send us your women

I don't get the fatalism of you Americans on this Forum. Why do you think that Islam will dominate the world, or that it will get the chance?

Our Western Armies, Economies, Media and propaganda mills control the world. We have the power to sustain that - and American is leading the way in looking out for itself and only itself - so cut the *$#@ .

I don’t think that there’s any danger of Islam controlling the world in the next 24 hours. I do however predict that the EU will be in turmoil before the middle of this century.

Muslims for the most part are spineless zombies that are ruled by their religious masters. If an imam tells them to jump then they jump and they do likewise if they are told to sit. Currently there’s a trend in Islamic countries to shift towards fundamentalism unfortunately that brings with it supporters of Islamic terrorism.

At the turn of the last century Islamic fundamentalist terrorism was virtually non-existent whereas today there’s much support for these individuals. I think that there’s plenty of evidence that theirs is a religion of murder, mayhem and domination.

The goal of Muslims is to spread the word of Allah to the four corners of the earth and that is exactly what is taking place at the present. Individually Muslims seem to do well but when they out surpass other religions they go into a domination mode.

9/11 was an attempt to destroy the status of the US and if they had succeeded in wiping out the Whitehouse things would most likely be a lot different now. Perhaps you want to minimize the danger but I just tell it like it is.

Go talk to gilga, I am sure he can manage something, as it is his deepest wish to eradicate the German population too.
Maybe in ten years, when he is the leader of Israel (that is is ambition, remember?) he will push the button and solve all your problems

So you just have to be patient.

This thread wierds me out...I don't know what is sarcastic or not. An A-bomb blowing up in Germany....that's horrible and offensive....just to wish thousands killed?

As for Europe funding Palestinian terror - IT IS. Both the EU and the individual nations which have REFUSED to stop fundraisting for Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Al-Quaida in their countries. FRANCE is at the head of this list.

I don't know what is wrong with the French government, or the french media , or possibly the french people.
