Russian beauties give Eilat tourism a welcome boost

    From J Post:

At a time when the entire country is suffering from a dearth of tourists from abroad, the tourism industry in Eilat is getting a shot in the arm from an unexpected source: a Russian beauty contest.

The Russian Crystal Crown Beauty Contest is due to take place tonight at the Princess Hotel in Eilat at what the hotel estimates is a cost of some $1 million. Over the last few days a staff of directors, producers, technicians, and television crews have arrived at the hotel, along with 25 finalists in the contest.

Princess Hotel manager Ziv Goldstein said that the Russian team reserved 120 rooms for six days. He said it was especially welcome because of the current lack of tourists in Eilat.

I went on vacation in Eilat. Had a nice flight on Continental Airlines. I'm glad I went when I did, I sure wouldn't go now

Actually my wife was considering heading to that part of the world but she changed her mind. I wonder if relative calm will ever return to that section of the world.

Israel has to hire Russian prostitutes to attrackt some tourism at least, sad for a country that was once the number one in the Middle Eastern tourism-industry.

Change your prime minister to one who wish to make real concessions and peace with the palestinians and Israeli tourism industry and economy could recover sooner than you can book your tickets.
But for the moment i think Israel gets what it deserves. Blaim Sharon and those extremist colonisers who killed rabin.

Yaaawn...brave words from a french. Are the brothels of paris doing badly that you are angry at russians comming over to israel? Why don't you continue pimping the french whores to the arabs..who knows the rich ones might actually buy more weaponary from you .

Israel just has to make use of this oppurtunity and wipe out hezbollah and hamas leadership. Lets not all chicken out like the frenchies.

Israeli tourism can attract more than Russian girls if the damm Arab terrorists stop. Also, how was French tourism during the three week Arab riots?
