The stock market abhors indetermination.
Kaddafi is one of the Remaining disturbing and threatening tyrants on Earth.
He did finally agree to reimburse Locherbie Pan Am relatives.... he does give his daughter (what a dish) significant responsibilites ( in a culture that treats women as rags--this is commandable)--but... he keeps spouting his meshugas once in a while

If SUCH A RENEGADE and "MADMAN" Arab leader is going to join Western Sanity--that can be another VERY SIGNIFICANT BLOW to TOTALITARIAN ISLAM.

This could start a chain effect. (bigger than Saddam's fall)
If Iran sees that she is a LONE WOLF and decides to JOIN humanity too and stop threatening with her Shihab 10 (that can reach Long Island)--this will REALLY be a BLOW UP OF PEACE ALL OVER.

A peacefull world is RATHER BULLISH FOR STOCKS. If the Arab world really opens to High tech and Every Muslim will have a computer--Intel will go to 100, Yhoo will retest 250---

The point I'm trying to make is quite simple. I wouldn't go around celebrating this "victory" so quickly because it will likely result in the Arab states further demonstrating to the world that while they are taking steps towards compliance with international demands, Israel remains a "rouge," " intransigent" nation that should (will) become increasingly isolated.

Think of it like a game of chess. None should be overzealous in celebrating the small victories because you don't know how many steps ahead the other side is planning when they make their current move.
