New breed of Suicide bombers?

Palestinian sources in Jenin reported this morning (Sunday) that IDF arrested three young Palestinian boys after finding in their possessions a pipe-type explosive charge. the boys were found near Galame roadblock in WB. The three boys, aged 13-14 are residents of the village of Tubass. They told the soldiers they wanted to perform a suicide bombing against the defense wall.

The three boys left letters to their families. In the letters the boys ask their parents to hold a big procession in their honor, give out candies in their funerals and not to mourn their death. The boys also said in the letters that they were sent by Al Quds brigades (military arm of Islamic Jihad) and Al Aqsa brigades (military arm of Fatah).

the children's families expressed anger about the event and one of the fathers said he's still not sure whether the boys were sent by someone or acted on their own. The father called Palestinian security forces to investigate the case and if it is found out that someone instigated the boys into action, they should be held responsible for this.

Israel nabs Palestinian youths planning suicide attack

Israeli security forces arrested three Palestinian youths who planned to carry out a suicide attack out of anger over Israel's West Bank barrier, relatives said Sunday.

The youths, ages 13 and 14, were among the youngest ever arrested for planning suicide attacks. Parents of one of the boys expressed outraged that militant groups had taken to drafting young boys to carry out suicide attacks.

Most suicide bombers have been in their 20s. The youngest was 16 years old.

The army did not immediately comment.

Mohammed Abu Mahsen said his 13-year-old son, Tarek, along with his friends, Jaffer Hussein, 13, and Ibrahim Suafta, 14, left a letter saying they planned to carry out a shooting attack at an Israeli military checkpoint or army base, he said.

The 13-year-olds claimed to be members of Islamic Jihad, while Suafta said he belonged to the Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, a militant group linked to Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement, family members said. The boys were arrested last Thursday.

"I want to carry out an attack against (Prime Minister Ariel) Sharon's fence. This fence, we will blow it up also, the Islamic Jihad youth movement," Tarek wrote in the letter.

"We want you to give out candies and don't cry for us and hold a big demonstration," he added, referring to traditional salutes given to "martyrs" who die for the Palestinian cause.

Tarek's parents were outraged and criticized Islamic Jihad for conscripting such young boys to their ranks.

"My son doesn't know how to write such a letter and never belonged to any groups. Someone older wrote this letter for him," said his mother, Amira Abu Mahsen.

Mohammed Abu Mahsen said two men in their mid-20s looked for his young son last week and he didn't know why.

"Now I know why they were looking for my young son," Abu Mahsen said. "I will complain to the Palestinian intelligence to find whoever wanted to send my son ... I have to find out who these people are who wanted to send my son, my young son."

Why do you think its a new phenomena?
We already had several suicide attackes carried out by 15 years old bomber, and great many children attacking soldiers with pipe bombs, homemade granades and military issue granades as well, children attempting to inflintrate, armed with knives, children stabbing young woman in Jerusalem (happened many times in the past decade)...

Arab children are reggularly forced vollenteared and brain washed by thier teachers and parents to become terrorists. And the world is scielent about these human rights violations.

You see, since the Arabs are rich with oil, count for over 300 millions and backed up by 1.3 billion muslems... they are allowed to do whatever they feel like, and the world is scilent, and even supportive!

human rights acitvists do not up hold Arabs to the same human rights standards they expect others, AS IF Arabs are LESS human or LESS responsible for their OWN actions (as if they were insane or small children).

Exactly. These people would be surprised to hear they are racist, and will argue that they consider the Arabs as good as themselves. They don't realize, however, that overcoming racism also requires the realization that others can also be as bad as yourself and, like yourself, should take reponsibility for it.

Well I can answer that one: pregnant suicide bombers - we alerady had them.
There was a shivering report in Channel 2 news about women suicide bombers. They said there are about 40 women who attempted suicide bombing and were caught by IDF and now serve their time in prison. 20 of those have children and two of them were pregnant when they attempted their attack.

Not only is it sick, but it's not even as bad as what goes on in the disputed territories. That pic, with the father holding his daughter on his shoulders, and the daughter sporting a faux-pack of dynamite on her belly, comes from Northern Europe (Germany I think?)
