    Er, not really.
More the Bob Marley fans, as Bob Marley was a rocking zionist

    Youre doomed!
    I knew it!
    A reggae fan yet!

I had a feeling we had a history in common.

I used to live in Negril Jamaica in 1982-83 with my boyfriend at the time who owned/ran a hotel on the cliffs when I was 21.
< Jewish, not Jamaican BTW >

Used to fly in for the Reggae Festivals beforehand.
Have seen them all, except for Marley.

I have a very difficult time relating today to any
    old friends from that period.
In fact I rarely see them today.
Its much more common to be that liberal at 20+ though

I hear of some old friends occassionally that are still doing the
    same thing 20+ years later.
Once you age a bit often you do become less liberal, or, often
    you grow, and they dont.

    Maybe you will be luckier.

    Good Luck

Yes, funny how that goes. Is it an indication that the right wing is more sensible? I know someone who says it about herself actually, she is now really left-wing, but her parents are right-wing and tell her she'll get right-wing too when she gets older. Who knows. The way I see it, it's not or/or. One can be peace-loving, liberal in ethical questions, left-wing in economic issues, and pro-Israel and pro-US and right wing in security issues.
I guess it's not so easy to put me in a certain group, I sway from one side to the other, depending on the issue.
Especially for reggae style people with hippie clothes and all the happiness etc, you should not be so hostile towards anyone and thus not so fierce in anti-Israel raging.

Either way..."let's get together and feel alright".

I too am a Bob Marley fan!

I think I know what you mean about how much you change as you get older. With my birthday coming up on Wednesday, I’ve been thinking quite a lot about how much I have changed over the past three years. I feel that I have gained a much greater sense of clarity in my life as well as self confidence. I don’t know if this sense of growing personal empowerment finally subsides at some point, with uncertainty creeping its way back in, but I am actually looking forward to this whole getting older thing. I’m also starting to find older men more attractive. It’s interesting because only a year ago, when guys in their late twenties would hit on me I looked at them as creepy old farts. I can tell that I’m getting older because in the past couple of weeks, I’ve caught myself on several occasions saying, “When I was a kid……” I’m also looking forward to the day when I’m 60 years old so I can pick fights with the television set and not feel embarrassed to pass gas in public. I may not even wait until I turn 60!

I feel like I've grown up considerably. I devote so much time now to making memories for tomorrow because I value so much the ones I have now. You know, I spend hours taking photos of events and things and describing them in loads of detail in the photo album, so I can look back and feel like I'm there again. This is something that I'll value more and more as I get older.

    But Mira:

It’s interesting because only a year ago, when guys in their late twenties would hit on me I looked at them as creepy old farts.

I hope you have learnt the error of your ways!!

Older guys are more mature, sensitive, caring and gentlemanly... and more importantly richer and better in bed!

But they can't be too old cos then they get wrinkly... late 20s is about right!

France gets the fright of a lifetime. Just use your imagination to think what the French were thinking.

Luxor Air Banned From Flying in France
    1 hour, 52 minutes ago

PARIS - France has banned Egyptian airline Luxor Air from flying in the country after one of its planes took "a completely abnormal" flight path at low altitude over a French city, the head of civil aviation said.

Luxor Air's flying rights in France were suspended during an investigation into a March 21 flight from Luxor , Egypt, to Nantes in western France, Michel Wachenheim, director-general of France's Civil Aviation Authority, said late Saturday.

The plane, an MD-83, made a 1.2-mile deviation as it came in for landing and overflew the urban center of Nantes at an altitude of 660 feet — a "very low" altitude and "completely abnormal trajectory with respect to its normal flight path," Wachenheim said.

None of the 104 passengers and 10 crew aboard were injured.

After landing safely on its second attempt, the plane left Nantes quickly. "Visibly, they were very rushed," Wachenheim said.

France's Bureau of Accident Investigation has asked Egyptian authorities for information about the flight crew, and background on the plane and airline, which is a small privately owned company.

France has notified other European countries about the investigation.

Ok, now if the flight took this path............why?

It didnt crash the plane so what do you suppose took place?

As suggested by others elsewhere in respect to other incidents, I think this sort of thing is a test of the security procedures in place. If there had been no reaction to this, then the next action would have been more aggressive.

In military terms, this is called probing defenses. In other words, the jihadis just learned that France is both mentally and operationally completely unprepared to deal with the problem of airplanes as missiles.

As far as I'm concerned, it was a clumsy mistake.

The point is how the French jumped.

I know in the 1960's and 70's we used to call Air France, "Air Chance" because on an almost daily basis flights from Paris to JFK would come in off course and a sortie from Cherry Point NAS would have to be scrambled to escort the flight back into its assigned flight path. On more than one occasion the Air Chance pilots also refused radio calls from the NJ Air National Guard.

Now I finally understand what Air France's advertising jingle back then meant when they sang "There's nothing like the French way in the air!"

    Madrid Names Suspected Terrorist Leader
    5 minutes ago

MADRID, Spain - A Tunisian being sought under an international arrest warrant is the leader of the group suspected of carrying out the March 11 railway bombings in Madrid, according to court documents released Thursday.

The investigation into the bombings that killed 191 people and injured more than 1,800 has focused on the Moroccan Islamic Combatant Group.

The court documents identify Sarhane Ben Abdelmajid Fakhet as "leader and coordinator of the different people implicated" in the attacks.

Sarhane was one of six men named on international arrest warrants issued by Judge Juan del Olmo on Wednesday. Others were Moroccans Jamal Ahmidan, alias El Chino; Said Berraj; Abdennabi Kounjaa, alias Abdallah; Mohammed Oulad Akcha, and his brother Rachid Oulad Akcha.

Del Olmo's documents said all are wanted for murder and belonging to a terrorist group.

The document said Moroccan suspect Berraj met with three al-Qaida suspects in Istanbul in October 2000 and had ties with Basel Ghayoun, a Syrian, who is already jailed on charges of mass murder and belonging to a terrorist organization in relation to the Madrid attacks.

Two days after the attacks, police found a videotape in which a man claiming to speak on behalf of al-Qaida said the group carried out the bombings in reprisal for Spain's collaboration with the United States and "crimes in Iraq (news - web sites) and Afghanistan (news - web sites)."

Police believe some of the chief perpetrators are already in custody.

Spanish police are holding 19 people, 14 of whom have been charged. Excluding Otman El Gnaout, a detainee whose nationality has not been announced, there are 11 Moroccans or Moroccan-born Spaniards, two Indians, two Spaniards and three Syrians in custody.

This just in. Spanish Bullet Train Service suspended this hour after a large complex bomb was found on one.

Maybe they should hold another election and just give the job to some Iranian Mullah.
