Palestine Virus

A new computer virus has been detected that you may want to take precautions against. This is the Palestinian Virus – a virus that settles in your PC, claims it was there before your PC was built or Bill Gates was born, then demands parts of your hard drive. If you want the virus to leave you and your PC alone, you can try to give the virus the hard drive space it wants, but it will refuse the deal and start killing data on your computer.

Some people have suggested a solution for this virus problem is to give the virus its own PC. As stated above, this virus has been known to refuse the offer. Other nearby PCs won't take the virus either, even if the virus is compatible with the other computers. The virus seems to want nothing less than to take over your entire computer together with the removal and destruction of all your data. Software-based anti-virus solutions have been proposed, but so far only hardware solutions have had any impact.

The only solution we have been able to determine that may work is the physical removal of the virus from your computer. The only problem with this solution is all the other computers will object, and you will be castigated in the media and by the U.N.

Of course there is one more solution not mentioned, which would be a full reformat of your hard drive, an all out homocidal blast against every virus & spyware within your 'puter

I find generally that most college students are a humorless self important desperate bunch who cling to labels and typically call someone a racist or a fascist in between bong hits.

I'm afraid I have to agree with KSO's sentiments - I don't think it's appropriate at all

Then consider it a cultural myth and host some seminars on it to put an acceptable sheen on it. It's like a friend of mine who's black mentioned that (you) white folk 'have spent all your nigger rights - you just can't use it anymore...' To which I responded "Used up? What are you talking about, you never gave us any you've been too busy keeping it all to yourselves.'

So as long as there are nothing but sacred cows, and the Palestinians reserve for themselves the right to determine the ground rules for how the world is supposed to look at Palestinians I'm afraid they can expect more of the same patronizing attitude from everyone else.

I'm afraid I'm not quite on your intellectual level and don't know what you mean by sacred cows and giving up "nigger" rights...

But I am yet to see any convincing justification for degrading an entire group of people into nothing more than a virus. Imagine if someone posted something similar about Jews on this forum. I don't think people would find it so funny, and I'm a bit disappointed by some of the responses from people whose posts I usually respect a lot.

How could I be so insensitive as to compare a Culture who in every Poll supports Terrorism against Israeli Civilians, and kills as many or more of them than any Virus.... to a Virus.

The comparison is perhaps Only inapt (unfair to microbes) because at least the Viruses don't do it intentionally and don't Celebrate/hand out Candy after they kill someone.

As long as there's a dialog with the Palestinians the Palestinians won't let anyone have, that's what happens. If there's a vocabularly you aren't allowed to use then all it does perpetuate the myth of victimization and victimhood.

I think it's too crude but still couldn't help laughing. Indeed, replace it with "Jew" and you'll get a whole other effect and other reactions. But that's because of the war past and the virus of antisemitism that's always been around up till this very day. There's no such thing with the Palestinians. The reason they are hated, is because of what they've done and continue to do. I mean let's face it: Jews are and always have been hated for no reason (not saying by this that all Jews are good, surely there are Jews with abominable behaviour who are hated for that), whereas the there are quite some things you can hate the Palestinians for. Not all though, and I'm not talking about my own hatred, just more in general.

Ahava, I have Palestinian blood in me. I appreciate the humanity and compassion you display for the Palestinian people. But I don't like the undertones of that last post...that your blood is better than mine. Sounds like you are saying it is not OK for people to hate you, but it is OK for people to hate me, because I deserve it? PLease tell me that's not what you meant - that it is understandable to hate Palestinians, but not Jews?

It is not OK to hate or degrade any race of people until each and every one of them has been found guilty of the crime you accuse them.
