Three Israelis wounded in overnight shooting attack

Three Israelis were wounded late last night in a roadside shooting attack near the Samaria community of Neveh Tzuf west of Ramallah.

Palestinian gunmen ambushed Hillel and Sarah Engelman, together with Rami Hasid as the three were traveling in a vehicle adjacent to the community at approximately 22:30.

Hasid was moderately wounded in the thigh and was admitted to Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer.

Hillel sustained a chest wound and is in moderate condition. His wife Sarah was lightly wounded by shrapnel.

IDF rescue forces arriving at the scene came under fire by snipers in the nearby village of Dir Abu-Masha'al.

The truce is merely a temporary inconvenience for Arafat who is in the middle of a military battle against Israel, which he is, btw, winning.
