Everything's fine except I find the difference between icons for new unread posts versus read posts too subtle.

Changes I would like to see:

No ignore list. :P
More than 3 smilies per post.
15,000 character maximum per post.
30 second delay between postings, instead of 60.

Ah, the demanding type.

they're back to normal now, but yesterday they were different. This one was green, this one red etc and they looked cooler, in my opinion.

I disagree. If we can handle it, we can also handle them missing. You can just fill in the blanks. Remember AdLibs?

I'm divided on the issue, as my knowledge of the English language comes almost completely from Movies, So for me those words are the most vital part of the English language.
But for some Reason I preffer profanities out.

Regarding the search problems, it also seems that the results are sometimes not displaying hits from recent posts, possibly going back a year or more.

Does some sort of a search index have to be regenerated?

Yeah, although I don't know if VB3 has a tool to update the search index, VBulletin.org might tho.
