Since this is a religious dispute why don't we settle this the way that problems like this were settled back in Biblical/Kuranic Times?
An all out war of attrition!!
The Muslims,Catholics and their EuroLiberalAthiest supporters VS Israel,Christianized USA and India in an all out war to the finish and whoever wins get's to keep Canaan and execute all of the losers and keep their stuff
That would settle who "God sides with" in the original ideology of every culture involved and would do the world a favor by reducing population and increasing resources worldwide.Of course in this hypothetical situation Canaan ends up a smoldering ruin but it would condense all of the death, destruction and mayhem to just a few years instead of stretching out for several thousand more years.
Sound like an idiotic plan doesn't it?Well if you watch the way world opinion is going this will be the eventual result of all current policies carried out to their farthest logical conclusion
BTW:I signed the petition
It is really??
You said, people should boycot the Body Shop, because it supports the PLO. But I think, and I am pro-Israel, that the PLO should be supported. Because you have to deal with the Palestinians anyway, and the PLO is a party you can deal with, while the Hamas is not. So it is better, having the PLO representing the Palestinians instead of the Hamas. So it is good to support the PLO. The Palestinians are there anyway, and when I said, that I am pro-Israel, that does not mean, I am anti-Palestine, because it is obsolete being against reality, and Palestines and what they want (an own state) are reality. But you can argue better with them, when they are represented by the PLO, than when they are by the Hamas. Is this so or not?
Agreed. Now, let's extend that right to Jews who were forced out of their homes and taken to death camps and then after miraculously surviving, came home to find that they were refused entry, many being murdered.
Let's extend that right to the ~600,000 to 800,000 Jews who were forced out of Arab lands at the end of World War II and were never allowed the right to return.
Jews in the new Palestine (now called Jordan) were thrown out (the ones who weren't murdered, anyway) and have never been allowed to return.
It is true that a few thousand Palestinian residents who left their homes were not allowed to return; no doubt. Arafat turned down an extremely generous offer in 2001-2001 peace accords. Arafat's action was called a crime by Saudi Arabia's Prince Bandar. Apparently, Arafat didn't want to lose his beloved victim status.
I don't understand why some people concentrate on those very, very few Palestinians when there were over a million Jews who were denied the very same thing.
If Jews had not been denied return to their rightful homes, there would be no Palestinian "problem."
I sincerely do feel for the very few true Palestinians (who are almost all dead now, anyway, due to old age) who were not allowed to return. However, it is indeed antisemitism to concentrate on their plight and ignore what happened to a much larger number of Jews.
Another overpriced wannabe "natural care and wellness" shop. I personally prefer their competitive. Not sure if I'm allowed to give links to them, as suggestion for an alternative, or post their name. Advertising and all... but anyway.
I don't really have a say about the right of return but I rather eat snails than see one dime of my hard earned cash going anywhere near the PLO.
Palestinian refugees who fled out of Israel after the 1948 war, huh? Some of them were told not to leave and that they can live among the Jews as citizens with equal rights, but they preferred to flee in hopes to return, with a wave of Arab armies, and plunder the Jews. Others truly were kicked out of their homes and of course, some stayed and those who chosen to cooperate and obey the law are living a pretty good life now in Israel.
I once bought their face wash and received a rash, no lie. It probably had an anti-Jewish virus in it.
Yessir/Nosir Arafat's fortune is estimated from between $500 MILLION to $1.3 BILLION dollars. He bought weapons for his pals, but wouldn't it have been a nice gesture to perhaps buy them some real essentials, such as food, clothing, and housing?
I guess that might have cut into his lavish lifestyle too much. The owner of the Body Shop is a real dip for wasting money.
I had no idea about this. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
