Gentiles are not just "white people", there are all non-Jews. There are good gentiles, and there are bad gentiles. We love the good ones and hate the bad ones. There are references to both kinds throughout Jewish texts.

As was explained, there are a lot of Jews in hollywood, and this was very true in the past, too... a lot of Jews in the beginning of the film industry - the pioneers.

However, these Jews tend to be very liberal secular, as opposed to, say, neo--conservatives. All these Jews do is have parties and make movies and fund one charity or another. They have more in common with their gentile hollywood peers than with other Jews. They don't control much of anything.

The idea that they do is offensive, as it implies that there is some sort of organized conspiracy... which was the basis of the Holocaust and is a standard anti-semetic trope - oh, the Jews want to dominate the gentiles.

Except that historically, its just the opposite - gentiles, or Muslims, dominate Jews. In the USA we are all equal. And Israel is the nation of the Jews, where gentiles and Muslims are equal, but the minority, and clearly in the home of another people.
