North Carolina university exam: "Describe Bush's attack on democracy"

Have a look at this fine example of blatant indoctrination of students.

    THE PRESIDENCY

    FINAL EXAM

Instructions: Write essays on each of the following 4 questions (25 points each). Your answers should be at least one page each, no less. You will be graded on your writing and organizational skills as well as your ability to bring the readings into your discussion. This test is designed to see how well you have thought about the materials we have read and discussed and your ability to discuss these materials after you have reflected on them.

    1. How has the war on terrorism contributed to the powers of the Bush presidency? (Discuss at least 4 ways).

    2. Discuss the sweeping attack on democratic rights under the Bush administration and what this means for the future of democratic government in America.

    3. Whose interests are served by the foreign and domestic policies of the Bush administration?

    4. Describe and discuss the role of the Bush advisors. Who are they? What is their agenda? And how is it being carried out?

    I'm speechless.

You need to take a look at that professor's personal homepage

It's the closest thing to functionally insane I've seen in a long time.

Here is Jane Christensen's contact page @ North Carolina Wesleyan College.

Feel free to contact Campus Watch, though I think Dr. C would revel in the attention.

Yes, this was covered on LGF, I'm sure Campus-watch knows of her by now.

Holy ! Is that even legal for a professor to do?

It is legal. But she is not a professor, she's an assistant professor. There is a big difference. However, unless she's a full tenured professor, which she's not, the university can, and in this case, ought to dismiss her for violating ethical standards of academic integrity.

The problem with doing something like that is the simple fact that it doesn't look good for the universities to dismiss instructors. So they'll be doing what they can to protect her. Most likely they'll force her to be easier on the rhetoric, and will wait for the whole issue to fade away.

Just from browsing her site, I thought I had accidentally landed on Cynthia McKinney's.

It made me think she was black, but then again, most of the extreme liberals these days, especially the generic white ones, fight for faux causes usually not their own. So my take is, if she is black, she's not getting booted without the New York Reverends stoopin in. If she's a whitey, then I fee twice as sorry for her.

Cynthia McKinney is nothing. Try Maxine Waters. Google for her web page and check out what she's been up to recently, especially some of her theories about CIA.

    Actually, here's the link: http://www.house.gov/waters/greet.htm

That's nothing. Some of the web links she uses as a source of reference include stuff like Freemasonry Watch
